View and location Asked for early check-in, was told it wouldn't be available til 4, so we valeted our bags and went to visit the city, came back at 4 and the room wasn't ready, not that big of a deal but when you've been on a plane and traveling all day it sucks

Fantastic location. Few minute walk from all of the action of Bourbon street, bars and shopping. Had to pay so much for the one night stay and parking due to the Essence Festive going on. Had issues with air conditioning. Room was not worth the price we paid because of the festival. Just a plain, ordinary room. Had to pay a lot for parking too.

The location, staff and hotel is great! The breakfast is top notch! Located between the Garden District and French Quarter and 1/2 way between Bourbon St and Harrah's....there is no way you can ever be bored or hungry! Valet is a much better security decision but it is not easy to do bc of shortage of places to park. Just be prepared to circle the block a few times. Booked a specific room but it wasn't available upon check in. Happened to another couple as well.

location! close to transportation - #11 bus, and canal street streetcars; floor was quiet. breakfast was good. friendly staff. the only thing i didn't like was the size of the room - we felt a little cluttered. but the bed was comfortable and the room clean so that made all the difference.

Good! The only downside was some of the rooms do not have Windows. I had read that in the reviews before I went so I knew to expect that. Don't let that keep you from checking this place out. All of the staff was the best! They were very personable and helpful. The front desk person, Dave, went above and beyond. Using a map of the French Quarter he marked out several good places for us to eat. Every single one of them was great. One night when it was raining he lent us his personal umbrella. If you're traveling in your car and will need to have it available at a specific time this is not the place to stay. Even when I told them the night before and called the front desk 30 minutes before, it was not there. I got to my meeting 2 minutes before it began. This is the only complaint I have. Be prepared to wait at least a half hour once you get to the lobby. The attendants have to walk about 6 blocks to get the car and then drive in the traffic to get to the hotel.

It was ok. Nothing special It was a nice location everything was within walking distance. Price was totally different from what I book with AAA. I booked the room for 888 for 3 nights when I checked out it was 1200 for three nights. I would recommend before booking with AAA is to call the hotel and check for extra fees that was not told to me with AAA
