What a letdown. The outside is deceiving, as is the courtyard and lobby. It looks quaint, hipster and charming from these vantage points. However, it is 4:42 am and I am here currently awake, as we have moved to our second horrible room. It is 78 degrees at best in the new room and the air conditioning barely works. This room is absolutely gross and tiny. You would think even a pathetic, struggling air conditioner could cool a room this small. But nope, and we have been here since 11:30 last night when we moved. We have not been able to sleep because it is so hot. The previous room was twice the size and after 4 hours with the air blowing full blast it had not cooled at all. It was stifling, like you were sleeping outside. This is a hotel posing as a hostel. For the money that we spent, go somewhere else!!! We are leaving first thing in the morning to go to another hotel and demanding our money back. The rom also is not clean, has absolutely no amenities and has bugs. The worst of it is the air conditioning though, it's too hot in New Orleans to not have functioning air conditioning. Apparently, in multiple reviews that is a recurring issue that they clearly don't care about, or they would fix it. This is our five year anniversary and it's been miserable to be here. We will never come back to this dilapidated, overpriced hostel! Save yourselves!

Não sei nem por onde começar minha insatisfação. Reservei o quarto com base na foto do quarto deluxe online. Era espaçoso com muita luz e tinha até um sofá. O que consegui foi uma decepcionante caixa de sapatos escura sem janelas. Não havia tomada ou porta de carregamento ao lado da cama. Eu tive que me levantar e atravessar a sala para acessar meu telefone enquanto carregava. Embora a unidade AC funcionasse bem, era muito barulhento. Havia uma rachadura na pia que a fazia parecer negligenciada e surrada. O banheiro era um armário sem sensação de luxo. O chuveiro era bizarro e tinha uma tábua faltando no chão, e a pressão era literalmente um gotejamento. Teve que tomar banho em outro lugar. Não havia ferro para as roupas amassadas de um viajante. As fechaduras das portas usam chaves antigas, mas de uma maneira mais antiquada e não retrô. O uso da palavra luxo é muito impróprio. A expectativa definida pelo nome do quarto, as fotos online e o custo foram grosseiramente decepcionadas. Não havia nada de luxo nisso. Isca total e troca. Talvez eu nunca tenha me sentido mais enganado na minha vida. Mencionei minha insatisfação com o quarto e o concierge não tentou resolver o problema e parecia ofendido. Fique em outro lugar!

Ni siquiera sé por dónde empezar con mi insatisfacción. Reservé la habitación basándome en la foto de la habitación de lujo en línea. Era espacioso, con mucha luz e incluso tenía un sofá. Lo que obtuve fue una decepcionante caja de zapatos oscura sin ventanas. No había enchufe ni puerto de carga junto a la cama. Tuve que levantarme y cruzar la habitación para acceder a mi teléfono mientras se cargaba. Aunque la unidad de aire acondicionado funcionaba bien, era muy ruidosa. Había una grieta en el fregadero que lo hacía sentir descuidado y en mal estado. El baño era un armario sin sensación de lujo. La ducha era extraña y le faltaba una tabla en el piso, y la presión era literalmente un goteo. Tuve que ducharme en otro lugar. No había plancha para la ropa arrugada de un viajero. Las cerraduras de las puertas usan llaves de la vieja escuela, pero en una forma de corte de esquina más anticuada y no en una forma retro y genial. El uso de la palabra de lujo es en gran medida un nombre inapropiado. La expectativa establecida por el nombre de la habitación, las fotos en línea y el costo fueron muy decepcionantes. No había nada de lujo en absoluto. Cebo total y cambio. Quizás nunca me he sentido más estafado en mi vida. Mencioné mi insatisfacción con la habitación y el conserje no hizo ningún intento por resolver el problema y parecía ofendido. ¡Quédate en otro lugar!

I don’t even know where to begin with my dissatisfaction. I booked the room based off the photo of the deluxe room online. It was spacious with lots of light and even had a couch. What I got was a disappointing dark shoebox with no windows. There was no outlet or charging port by the bed. I had to get up and cross the room to access my phone while charging. Though the AC unit worked fine, it was very loud. There was a crack in the sink that made it feel neglected and shabby. The bathroom was a closet with no deluxe feel. The shower was bizarre and had a board missing in the floor, and the pressure was literally a drip. Had to shower elsewhere. There was no iron for a traveler’s wrinkled clothes. The locks on the doors use old school keys, but in a more outdated corner cutting way and not a cool retro way. The usage of the word deluxe is very much a misnomer. The expectation set by the name of the room, the pics online, and the cost were grossly let down. There was nothing deluxe about it at all. Total bait and switch. I’ve perhaps never felt more ripped off in my life. I mentioned my dissatisfaction with the room and the concierge made no attempt to resolve the issue and just seemed offended. Stay elsewhere!

O ar condicionado estava quebrado, então fazia cerca de 78 graus no quarto. A TV também estava essencialmente quebrada, bloqueada em um canal. A equipe da recepção inútil e desdenhosa. Até o quarto deluxe é minúsculo. Iocation foi excelentes comodidades eram boas, mas não era limpo. Andar no chão deixava seus pés pretos, o banheiro tinha cabelo no ralo e o chuveiro tinha calafetagem solta no chão do chuveiro. Os peitoris das janelas estavam tão empoeirados que você poderia escrever seu nome neles. Isso foi depois que pedimos um reembolso e eles enviaram uma equipe de limpeza para limpar o quarto. Gostaria de ficar novamente por causa de sua localização, mas não podemos confiar que seja limpo. Quando você paga mais de US $ 3.000 por um quarto, você espera limpo.

AWFUL EXPERIENCE!!! My daughter, her wedding party and many family members booked reservations at the Selina Catahoula in New Orleans a year before her wedding. The day of check-in we were advised that our reservations had been canceled even though we did the pre-check in days before. Our bookings were canceled from someone within the Selina organization. After many phones to management, we were offered apartments & rooms WITHOUT air-conditioning. We pleaded with them to at least get portable a/c units which almost every business in New Orleans have or can rent on a moment’s notice … but no … management did not even give us so much as a fan.The bride & her wedding party did their hair, make-up, etc. without air-conditioning in the New Orleans summer heat. Our hairdresser said the same thing happened to her a few months earlier. UNBELIEVABLE AND UNACCEPTABLE business behavior. Book at your own risk!!!

We were here on their "soft opening" day for their restaurant and it was absolutely tragic. We ordered their arepas and you could see everyone scrambling to get things ready for us. They were definitely not expecting to serve drinks or food to anyone. Their arepa chips were salt and vinegar store bought chips.The bean hummus was again ready made.

Air conditioning was broken, so it was about 78 degrees in the room. TV was also essentially broken, locked on one channel. Front desk staff unhelpful and dismissive. Even deluxe room is tiny. Overall low value experience, with cleaning costing an additional $30 a day and more towels $10, which would perhaps be reasonable if the heat in the room created the need to shower often just for the relief of cool water.

Iocation was great amenities were good but it was not clean. Walking on the floor turned your feet black, the bathroom had hair in the drain and the shower had caulk laying loose on the shower floor. Window sills were so dusty you could write your name on them. This was after we asked for to have a refund and they sent a cleaning crew to clean the room. Would like to stay again because of it's location but we can't trust it to be clean. When you pay over $3000 for a room you expect clean.

Prós: -Gostei do check-in online, tornou tudo muito fácil e simples.-Os quartos foram limpos, exceto para uma queimadura/mancha preta no edredom. E as camas são confortáveis.-A atmosfera e a decoração do prédio são lindas! Eu amo e aprecio que é pet friendly, pois não há muitos lugares que são!-foi calmo e tranquilo quando estávamos lá.Contras: -Pouquíssima ajuda/serviço: A moça da recepção era doce, mas muito tímida e não deu nenhuma informação sobre o hotel, o que estava incluído em nossa estadia, etc. era suposto ser pequeno-almoço e café incluído, que não foi anunciado uma vez que reservamos, nem fomos informados na recepção. No último dia, tomei um café e havia pão torrado que estava a céu aberto (não muito apetitoso ou emocionante como café da manhã) e iogurte + muffins a um custo superfaturado. Outro jovem na recepção estava tão blazé e completamente desinteressado com tudo e todos ao seu redor. Quando fazíamos perguntas ou sorrimos, ele nem sequer nos olhava nos olhos e apenas dava respostas simples de sim ou não. Novamente, não há problema em ser assim, mas não é o melhor para alguém na recepção do hotel.-Eu não esperava que o quarto fosse tão pequeno. Não me importo, só acho caro para o tamanho do quarto. Eu tive que atualizar para o padrão porque queria adicionar uma noite extra no último minuto e isso é tudo o que estava disponível, então não me importei de pagar e imaginei que pagaríamos por um quarto maior com talvez mais comodidades. Mas vendo o quão pequeno era e quão poucas comodidades havia no quarto standard, não sei quanto menor ou menos comodidades o quarto mais barato (economia padrão) poderia ter sido. Basicamente, eu sinto que, embora eu pagasse mais, provavelmente teria conseguido praticamente a mesma coisa, mas para o quarto econômico (acho que eles são um pouco menores e uma cama de casal em vez de uma queen).-As paredes são finas e você pode ouvir quando há shows acontecendo no andar de cima, mas isso não me incomoda pessoalmente.Havia eventos anunciados, mas nada estava acontecendo enquanto estávamos lá, infelizmente. No geral, foi uma boa estadia, mas eu definitivamente não acho que valeu a pena tanto quanto pagamos (500 $ CAD por 2 noites, mas ficamos 3 porque havia um pagamento por 2 estadia por 3 promoção, obrigado bondade!). Talvez o custo seja alto porque eles se concentram em experiências, que não conseguimos.Eu recomendaria ficar aqui e eu iria novamente, mas eu definitivamente me informaria com antecedência na próxima vez. Acho que eles têm potencial para serem melhores no futuro :)

Muito boa atenção desde a primeira chamada e excelente tratamento. O hotel é uma casa antiga muito boêmia relaxante eles permitem que seus amigos peludos e até cães de penas Gatos papagaios me deram quarto # 02 Eu tive um tempo muito tranquilo já que estamos na área francesa e caminhei pelas ruas até a Catedral e o rio Mississippi há música nas ruas estão cheias de turistas e você pode fazer cruzeiros fluviais e pacotes turísticos se não quiser gastar muito em um hotel e investir em passeios, este é o seu hotel.

Há uma janela fosca no chuveiro que leva ao pátio. Todo o complexo pode ver nossas silhuetas nuas, talvez você goste disso? Havia uma janela enorme com uma luz que brilhava forte através da sombra a noite toda. A pia fica na mesa e o vaso sanitário fica em um armário não confortável para corpos maiores. Toalhas e lençóis estavam limpos, colchão e travesseiros eram de alta qualidade, ac funcionou muito bem. O ambiente geral é retrô chique com tijolos expostos e plantas em todos os lugares. Aceita animais de estimação. Serviço de verificação tarde da noite foi excelente. Ficaria novamente. As comodidades para o ponto de preço são satisfatórias, mas não excelentes.

Muy buena atención desde la primera llamada y excelente trato. El hotel es una casa antigua muy bohemia relajante admiten a tus amigos peludos y hastaemplumados perros Gatos loros me dieron la habitación # 02 la pase muy tranquilo ya que estamos en la zona Francés y recorrí las calles hasta la Catedral y río Mississippi hay música en las calles mucho turista y puedes tomar cruceros por el río y paquetes turísticos si no quieres gastar mucho en hotely invertir en paseos este es tu hotel.

Pros: -I liked the online check-in, it made everything very easy and simple.-The rooms were clean, except for a burn/black stain on the duvet. And beds are comfortable.-The atmosphere and decor of the building are beautiful! I love and appreciate that it's pet friendly, as there are not many places that are!-it was quiet and peaceful when we were there.Cons: -Very little help/service: The young lady at the front desk was sweet, but very timid and didn't give any information about the hotel, what was included in our stay, etc. I found out later on from a friend that there was supposed to be breakfast and coffee included, which was not advertised once we booked, nor were we informed at the front desk. On the last day I got some coffee and there was toast bread that was just out in the open (not very appetizing or exciting as a breakfast) and yogurt+muffins at an overpriced cost.Another young man at the reception was so blazé and completely disinterested with everything and everyone around him. When we asked him questions or smiled, he would not even look us in the eye and just give simple yes or no answers. Again, it's okay to be that way, but not the best for someone at the hotel reception.-I was not expecting the room to be that small. I don't mind it, I just think it's overpriced for the size of the room. I had to upgrade to the standard because I wanted to add an extra night last minute and that's all that was available, so I didn't mind paying and I figured we'd be paying for a bigger room with maybe more amenities. But seeing how small it was and how little amenities there were in the standard room, I don't know how much smaller or less amenities the cheaper room (standard economy) could have been. Basically, I feel like even though I paid more, I probably would have gotten pretty much the same thing but for the economy room (I think they are tad smaller and a double bed rather than a queen).-The walls are thin and you can hear when there are shows going on upstairs, but that doesn't bother me personally.There were events advertised but nothing was going on while we were there unfortunately. Overall, it was a good stay but I definitely don't feel like it was worth as much as we paid at all (500$ CAD for 2 nights, but we stayed 3 because there was a pay for 2 stay for 3 promotion, thank goodness!). Perhaps the cost is high because they focus on experices, which we did not get.I would recommend to stay here and I would go again, but I would definitely inform myself ahead of time next time. I think they have potential to be better in the future :)

There is a frosted window in the shower that leads into the courtyard. The entire complex could see our naked silhouettes, maybe you're into that? There was a huge window with a light that shined brightly through the shade all night. The sink is on the desk and the toilet is in a closet not comfortable for larger bodies. Towels and sheets were clean, mattress and pillows were high quality, ac worked very well. Overall ambience is retro chic with exposed brick and plants everywhere. Pet friendly. Late night check service was excellent.
Would stay again. Amenities for price point are satisfactory but not outstanding.

Para ser sucinto, este é um hostel cobrando preços de hotel. Eu tive uma estadia tão agradável no Selina San Jose na Costa Rica que exortei meu parceiro a reservar a suíte aqui para nossa viagem, mas depois de ficar aqui, estou evitando todos os locais do Selina para viagens futuras. Eu geralmente tenho a mente para superar qualquer coisa ruim e focar no bem, mas isso não valeu a pena aqui.Chegamos um pouco mais cedo, pois não percebemos que o check-in era às 16h. A porta da recepção estava trancada com uma nota para chamar alguém para entrar. Esta deveria ter sido a primeira pista de que a experiência não seria o que pagamos. Depois de entrar, o homem na recepção nos informou que havia alguns problemas com nosso quarto e que seríamos "atualizados" da suíte para o apartamento de 1 cama gratuitamente. Que pena, já que nossos corações estavam voltados para a Suíte, mas provavelmente não sob o controle deles.O apartamento em que ficamos ficava ao lado de uma escada suja. Nada bom. O quarto em si era espaçoso e parecia quase vazio. As paredes tinham algumas marcas de arranhões. Uma tigela no armário tinha uma bola de manteiga na borda. O micro-ondas tinha um único fio de cabelo encaracolado. Nada terrível, mas não ótimo para o que eles cobram.No meio da nossa estadia, meu parceiro teve uma intoxicação alimentar e a roupa de cama não era mais utilizável. Eu nunca tinha acontecido isso em um hotel antes, então fui até a recepção e expliquei o que aconteceu. Em vez de qualquer simpatia ou orientação sobre o que fazer, ele continuou dizendo que era um "momento muito ruim", pois eles estão "totalmente reservados" e o serviço de roupa de cama não chegou até o dia seguinte. Ele disse "Eu não sou realmente o cara para lidar com esse tipo de coisa" e então perguntou "o que você está procurando que eu faça aqui?" Ele acabou me dando alguns sacos de lixo para ensacar a roupa de cama inutilizável, que ele pegou quando trouxe novos lençóis.Uma graça salvadora foi que, depois que meu parceiro reclamou diretamente no aplicativo, o gerente entrou em contato e foi extremamente gentil e prestativo. Ele ofereceu assistência e seguiu em frente. Exceto por ele, esta seria uma revisão de uma estrela.Além disso, se você estiver hospedado, verifique se o bar da cobertura está realmente aberto. Fomos para o telhado pouco depois das 5 na sexta-feira. Estava completamente vazio, exceto por um cara sentado no bar fumando. Esperamos cerca de 10-15 minutos. Uma mulher que supostamente trabalha lá entrou, passou por nós, foi para trás do bar, conversou com o homem e saiu. Então partimos.

To be succinct, this is a hostel charging hotel prices. I had such a delightful stay at Selina San Jose in Costa Rica that I urged my partner to book the Suite here for our trip, but after staying here, I am avoiding all Selina locations for future travel. I am generally of the mind to power through anything bad and focus on the good, but that did not pay off here.We arrived a bit early as we did not realize check-in was at 4 pm. The door to reception was locked with a note to call someone to be let in. This should have been the first clue that the experience wouldn't be what we paid for. Once let in, the man at reception let us know there was some trouble with our room and that we would be "upgraded" from the Suite to the 1 Bed Apartment free of charge. Bummer, since our hearts were set on the Suite, but probably not within their control.The apartment we stayed in was just off a dingy stairwell. Not great. The room itself was spacious and felt mostly empty. The walls had some scuff marks. A bowl in the cupboard had a glob of butter on the rim. The microwave had a single, curly hair in it. Nothing terrible, but not great for what they charge.Halfway through our stay, my partner got food poisoning and the bedding was no longer usable. I've never had this happen in a hotel before, so I went to the front desk and explained what happened. Rather than any sympathy or guidance on what to do, he kept saying it was "really bad timing" as they're "fully booked" and linen service didn't come until the next day. He said "I'm not really the guy to deal with this sort of stuff" then asked "what are you looking for me to do here?" He did ultimately give me some trash bags to bag the unusable bedding, which he took when he brought new linens up.One saving grace was, after my partner complained directly on the app, the manager reached out and was extremely kind and helpful. He both offered assistance and followed through on it. Except for him, this would be a one-star review.Also, if you're staying, verify the rooftop bar is actually open. We went to the rooftop shortly after 5 on Friday. It was completely empty, except one guy sitting at the bar smoking. We waited around for 10-15 minutes. A woman who presumably works there came in, walked by us, went behind the bar and chatted with the man, and left. Then we left.

Es un hotel bello y bien ubicado pero se queda sin agua permanente. Al 3er piso el agua no sube por ser una casa antigua y no te dan soluciones reales de buen servicio pues se "excusan" en que es un tema de la ciudad.

Algunos Airbnb te darán descuento para dejar tus maletas en resguardo en este hotel. El personal es súper amable y es una gran opción para estar cerca del centro.

Un hotel boutique pequeño, en una muy buena ubicación. A solo unos minutos caminando de la concurrida Bourbon street.Cuenta con un bar en el primer piso y otro en la terraza. Famoso por la preparación de Pisco Sour.

El hotel como tal me gustó,tiene buena ubicación, el cuarto y las instalaciones estaban bien. Lo único que no me pareció fue el servicio de limpieza, pues mi esposo y yo nos hospedamos 3 noches, en las cuales no tuvimos ni cambio de ropa de cama, ni Tampoco implementos de aseo tales como; papel de baño ni jabón de tocador, deja mucho que pensar de las personas que hacen la limpieza en los cuartos.
