This upmarket hotel is located at the centre of San Francisco's theatre district, close to Union Square. Scores of shops and other entertainment venues are to be found within steps of the hotel. The hotel is well situated for the public transport network.

Um bom hotel, excelente localização. Lobby muito charmoso e o bar as noites é imperdível. Mas o quarto que ficamos não era nada de especial.

Hotel típico de grande metrópole. Hall bonito, Decoracao chique, boa localização, porém quartos pequenos e que não correspondem ao alto preço praticado. Cobram um fee obrigatório de 28$ por dia: nele está incluso a internet e $10 por dia para ser utilizado em qualquer bar do hotel. Acabei não usando.

The rooms were a lot smaller than we expected. The area was very sketchy. Staff was extremely nice but when checking out we were charged a “destination fee” per day we were there and was told it was for the 2 bottles of water and coffee pod we had in the room. No one ever came by to replenish either the whole stay. Not overly impressed.

Nice rooms at reasonable prices. The staff is very helpful. Sure it’s technically in Union Square but only feet from the Tenderloin. You want to know something? This whole city is on the edge of the Tenderloin. Safe and well located. Great choice.

This property was wonderful, as an AmEx Platinum customer I received a $100 credit to use at their restaurant the egg whites dish was delightful! The doorman was helpful and the concierge were polite. Some history in the rooms that was a bit odd but that’s the charm of SF. It took the hotel a while to apply the $100 credit but they’ve stated they will honor that, we were not given an upgrade although rooms were available…Parking was a bit of a hustle but I found street parking nevertheless. The buy 2 nights get the third free and the $100 AmEx credit made this stay an obvious choice. Pop yes the high ceiling were impeccable and made the room feel bigger.

Great location, very accessible to pretty much everything. The building has a charming old vibe and there is a great bar inside the hotel. My room was spacious and had a great view.The reasons I am giving three stars: - wifi is terribly slow so there is no chance you can have a video conference. If you're on a business trip, I would not recommend this place!! - my room had a shared locked door with another one and I could hear every conversation and noise from the other room.

We just spent three days here on the first leg of a family vacation and I must say we are impressed. From the moment we arrived the staff were exemplary. Every request was met with professionalism and courtesy. From the counter to the valet five star service. Spacious rooms and excellent location we recommend. Really solid and reasonably priced hotel that was not a scene, which was what we were looking for. Theater District has seen better days and of course due to Covid, amenities were few, but hotel staff was gracious, down-to-earth and helpful. Room was clean and spacious and they still have the old giant chair from the Clift days.

Very nice hotel. The Jr. suite was nice with a pullout sofa for our youngest. Had a decent view of the city from the window. Daily cleaning had to be requested due to Covid. Temperature in the room was slightly too warm but our adjustments to the thermostat did not give results. The location is great although you'll need to be somewhat aware of your surroundings. A good amount of food options are within walking distance and parking garages are abundant. The hotel staff were very friendly and attentive. They made us feel welcome.
