Rooms were clean and location was great, but I would recommend looking for another hotel nearby. In addition to the exorbitant rate, they add on so many fees that you'd think you were at a 5-star hotel in Hawaii. When I stay at other hotels, I only have to pay resort fees per night. At this hotel, they want you to pay PER DAY. Which means, for one night you have to pay for two days. I've never heard of such a ridiculous thing. Valet parking was also seventy dollars, but their front entryway is a clusterfudge. The road is narrow and there's not a lot of room, you're not given any direction on what to do if you've never been there. Service was slow. We will not be coming back to this hotel.
Me parece que el hotel que abusa con las tasas, hemos pagado por dos noches164,49$ donde incluían 38,95$ por noche en concepto de Guest Amenity Fee. Came to Chicago to from DC for my birthday. Number one we booked the stay through the actual website. Nowhere, does it state the hotel is under construction. They waited until we are checking in and we asked the question…. Yes, we are under construction, you can get your money back and go somewhere else if you want…? What? We have nowhere else to go… we just would have like to know that before we booked the stay. We get a room, it’s gross. Moved us to another floor, the second night, the AC breaks - the night was miserable. They told us at 4am we could make be rooms… or wait for maintenance at 8am. This day Maintantance happen to not come in until 10am. Didn’t fix our room until 11:30am by 12pm it was broke again. We had to officially move to another room m. We paid more for a room with a view and a higher floor, suite. They moved us to this mini size suite with offices and people staring in your window for the remaining nights. This room was a clear downgrade and we did not get comped for the room difference. You are paying $40 for amenities but there are no amenities…. The bar is CLOSED! The rooftop is also closed. There is a coffee and tea machine on the size, both are broken. The actual rooms are okay, minus the peeling wall paper and stains on the couches. I’m certain the black tile floors in the bathroom are filthy. The staff is nice, Jess was helpful. Otherwise, we would not be back and do not recommend.
Booked the hotel through another site then called to verify reservation and payment was received. I did confirm the reservation and payment was received then I asked to confirm that there wouldn’t be an additional payment when I arrived. Glad I did because I was informed I would have to pay an additional $60/night amenity fee on arrival. It is mandatory on all rooms. So essentially, their room rate is $60 more expensive than they advertise and they hide it until you arrive and have nowhere else to go to tell you about it. Considering the quality of the hotel and additional $60 a night will get you a much nicer room in the same area.

Horrible experience. The construction in the building was unbareable. Everyday it started from 8am-5pm. It literally sounded like they were using the jack hammer in our king suite. This should be told before purchasing, or better yet they shouldn't even be booking at this time. Yes they did offer a refund for the remaining nights but it's not so simple to just find another hotel in the vacinity last minute and a king suite at that. Not to mention this was our honeymoon!!
The bed was very good. However the shower is such that to turn the shower on you get doused with cold water.
"Hotel Audrey" and the pics they have posted of bright modern rooms doesn't exist. The hotel is actually Chicago Hotel Collection and the rooms are much different. Scaffolding makes it hard to see the front. Clean, comfortable rooms. I slept well. Microwave and fridge but no tea or coffee in the room. Be aware the hotel charges an "amenity fee" on check-in that wasn't posted anywhere. Other hotels I've booked that were actual resorts disclosed those extra fees up front. And parking is separate and was $56 overnight. So you'll be paying almost $150 more than expected. Also the nice looking bar in pics is permanently closed, so they should remove the pics. I felt catfished by the fake pics of everything.

What an awful experience. From the moment we walked in and the lobby bathroom didn’t have a changing table (not for lack of room) to the hidden $60 we were charged once arriving. Finally, if the rooftop bar is what sucked you in…don’t bother, it’s not ever operational. Talk about a bait and switch….
The location is probably the lone bright spot with this hotel. The rooms were poorly renovated, I am guessing this was probably done based on the numerous names that come up when looking at this hotel. Extremely slow check-in process, no real amenities and the toilet hadn't been flushed and had pee on the seat still. They did at least come and clean it after we called. The bar always seemed to be closed in the lobby. The worst part was our last night and a half, the a/c went out in our room. It wasn't just our room though, there were multiple people in the lobby complaining about it. We told them in the morning before we left for the day, came back to a room even hotter than when we left it. We called again to have them fix it or move us. An hour later the building engineer showed up and showed us a switch we could flip to reset the unit. Said he had 13 other calls for the same issue he had to get to and that was it. This would have been fine if it worked... It only worked for about 5 minutes at a time. They knew about this issue all day and made no effort to call a repair company and actually address the issue. We had to sleep miserably in a room with no air. The only compensation they offered was to comp the room for the last night, mind you the air went out the night before in the middle of the night, which we told them. Then after we checked out, we got hit with another $300 charge for amenity/fees from the hotel that we didn't know about. We were told that this was part of the agreement through the booking service we used. I still haven't found the fine print that states this, and the hotel has done nothing to right the ship. So, that free night they gave us was completely negated by this charge after we checked out. I would strongly advise anyone looking for a hotel in downtown Chicago, DO NOT STAY HERE! It is not worth the semi appealing price point.

Manobrista 70,00 por dia e você tinha que esperar uma eternidade para o pobre homem andar de outro prédio no quarteirão para vir buscar seu carro. Por el precio, hotel increíble! Me alojé aquí por una noche y el hotel es muy agradable. La ubicación es perfecta. Todas las atracciones están a poca distancia. El check-in y el check-out se pueden realizar online, y solo hay que pasar por recepción para recoger y dejar las llaves. Le di cuatro estrellas porque la cafetería no estaba abierta. Me encantó la sensación relajada del vestíbulo y creo que será un gran espacio de reunión cuando se abra la cafetería.

My partner and I traveled to Chicago on a whim for a vacation and picked this place because it was one of the most affordable locations within walking distance from tourist attractions, shopping, bars, and restaurants. We arrived from the airport ~hours~ before our check in time and stopped in to ask if we could drop off our bags. We met Jessica, the Manager, who was welcoming and more than accommodating - she stored our bags for us and called us to let us know as soon as housekeeping was done with the room so we could settle in earlier than planned. Jessica was even able to upgrade us to a suite! She and the rest of the hotel staff greeted us every time we walked in and out, even when guests were at the counter. The room was clean and water & sodas were replenished upon request at no additional charge. When our flights were cancelled and we had to stay an additional day they were able to extend our stay for the same rate. The staff and hotel itself were a highlight of our trip!They are currently undergoing renovations on some of the floors but the construction noise was not an issue at all, even with construction happening directly below us.
This was great experience. We booked the room same day and they were so accommodating. Originally there was only a room with a queen and a pull out available; however, when we asked for two queens upon arrival they were able to provide that for us. Everyone at the front desk was very helpful. We were given free soda/water when we arrived (mind you it was midnight) and they even let us store our bags at the hotel after checkout. Highly recommend.
It's understandable that the air-conditioning was not working properly these things happen. However, it was for too long. There were numerous complaints given and the hotel did not jump on the situation in a timely manner. Two full days of 80+ degrees in the rooms with constant rising temperatures from outside was so uncomfortable. Even with the blinds closed and little to no movement there was no relief. We had to repack and find a new hotel. Overall the room was great. The space was nice. There weren't any amenities other than receiving a bag of 3 pops and 3 waters. No restaurant, no breakfast, no coffee bar. Yet you charged 55.00 for amenities fee. Valet 70.00 a day and you had to wait forever for the poor man to walk from another building on the block to come for your car. The wait was the same to receive your car back as well. The staff was professional but they weren't friendly and warm. They didn't make you feel welcomed and excited about being in their hotel. I will more likely than not utilize this hotel again even if they were the only space available.
I recently stayed at the hotel for a business conference. Great location, just minutes from the Northwestern campus where I had meetings, and just minutes from Michigan Ave/shopping/restaurants. My room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom had been newly updated. The workout area was updated, clean and well supplied with different equipment. The front desk even offered a bag of water and soda refreshments when I checked in. Was the hotel luxurious? No. But it was comfortable and convenient for a couple night stay. I loved the relaxed feel of the lobby and think it will be a great congregating space when the coffee bar opens.
For the price, amazing hotel! Stayed here for one night and the hotel is very nice. The location is perfect. All attractions are within walking distance. Checking in and checking out can be completed online, and only have to go to the front desk to pick up and drop off the keys. Gave it four stars because the coffee bar was not open. They also advertise 6 free drinks, which I believed to be alcoholic beverages but day of arrival, the website stated not at that specific location. That was not on there when I originally booked. They did give free water and soda. Parking is $70 with the hotel, but there are two other parking garages near. Would definitely stay here again.

Good experience. A strong smell of Marijuana in room but that's because person in next room was smoking. But hotel switched my room then the stay was great.

Super friendly staff, very hip hotel. We were there for New Years and the rate was VERY reasonable compared to the other hotels in the area. Great location, easy access to public transit. I think the hotel changed hands right before we checked in, so I don't know that they're still called Hotel audrey, but it's right next to a comedy club right off Michigan Ave.
Hotel excelente. Me pareceu bem novo ou reformado. Quarto enorme, com uma cama de casal e um sofá cama (banheiro ok, mesa de trabalho e maquina de café. Deve ter uns 40m2. Bem iluminado. Não possui café da manha, mas no térreo do hotel funciona uma cafeteria aberta ao publica (estilo Starbucks). No topo do prédio tem um bar que serve aperitivos e bebidas. Otima vista do por do sol.

A very pleasant and quiet boutique hotel. The rooms were spacious and comfy. Close enough to local attractions that ride share costs were minimal. Plenty of great restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance. Looking forward to staying again

Surprisingly large and utilitarian rooms with office area and very comfy bed. Above average gym facilities. Overall very good value and recommended for business travellers.
Even though the restaurant was closed, the check-in was very easy, and the front desk person was efficient and helpful. The room was spotless and the amenities were first class. I needed a place to stay while my wife was in the hospital overnight. This hotel was two blocks away and very reasonably priced. I would recommend the Audrey Hotel to anyone needing accommodations near the Northwestern Medical Complex in Chicago.

Em primeiro lugar, tenho que dar-lhes uma crítica fantástica por causa do alojamento que forneceram. Eu tive um vôo de chegada muito cedo, e eles nos permitiram fazer o check-in muito cedo, o que foi muito apreciado. Permitiu-nos desfrutar da cidade livremente e não desperdiçar o nosso dia. O quarto em si era peculiar, mas confortável, a suíte king. Estávamos no 25º andar. Nossa vista não era das melhores, mas no geral não há queixas nesse aspecto. O bar do hotel está fechado, então traga lanches. O quarto em si, embora anunciado como não-fumante, tinha um forte odor de cigarro. É bem limpo, mas você deve sempre desinfetá-lo ainda mais. Os azulejos do banheiro precisam ser atualizados, o carpete substituído e o teto limpo, mas, novamente, no geral, não é ruim. A localização era excelente e isso, combinado com a tarifa, faz do hotel Audrey um ótimo lugar para se hospedar!
Stayed for the marathon, room was big but lacked lighting, our common area was really dark at night and only lit by a desk lamp. There was no room service 'due to covid'. The shower was half wall/half curtain and when we asked for fresh towels - we were there for 3 days and we had to use the towels to soak up the sopping wet floor after each shower - they told us they couldn't give them to us but we could go to the gym and get gym towels as supplements.Overall I'd recommend staying here.The price was totally fair, the staff was really friendly, location was great.
First of all, I have to give them a fantastic review because of the accommodation they provided. I had a very early incoming flight, and they allowed us to check-in super early, which was much appreciated. It allowed us to enjoy the city freely and not waste our day. The room itself was quirky but comfortable, the king suite. We were on the 25th floor. Our view wasn’t the nicest but overall no complaints on that front. The hotel bar is closed, so bring snacks. The room itself, although advertised as non-smoking, had a strong cigarette odor. It’s decently cleaned, but you should always further disinfect it. The tiles in the bathroom need to be updated, carpet replaced, and ceiling wiped down, but again, overall, not bad. The location was superb, and that, combined with the rate, makes hotel Audrey a great place to consider staying!
Quiet boutique hotel located at the heart of downtown Chicago. It was easy and quick to o walk to shopping on Magnificent Mile, the Navy Pier, Millennial Park, top Chicago dining, and so much more. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and were a nice size. My only complaint, is that there isn’t daily housekeeping service available. So you will have to make your own bed and empty out your own trash each day. I stayed a total of four nights, but thoroughly enjoyed the convenient location! So would definitely recommend this hotel and it would return again!
Amazing little boutique hotel, located right in the center of all the best things to do here in the city. The interior is very cute, and we had a great view from our room! The staff were very friendly and helpful as well.

La ubicación está muy bien, a unos 7 min caminando está el metro, carca hay muchas tiendas y a unas cuadras está el lago así cómo varios parques cerca. Lo malo de nuestra habitación es el ruído tremendo que tiene el aire acondicionado que finalmente terminamos apagando porque no nos dejaba dormir.
En general bien, pero se me quedaron en el hotel dos artículos que no reportaron.
El servicio es muy bueno, la habitación era bastante amplia. Queda cerca de muchos restaurantes y tiendas.

Me encantó este hotel! Es muy cerca a todo y el staff muy agradable. Es muy limpio y me encanta como está decorado el lobby y las habitaciones.
