So clean and cozy my husband and I and our German Shepherd came back to stay a second time during our Island trip. The couple who own it were so nice and friendly. Highly recommend!

I don’t like staying in hotels because they make me uncomfortable and always have a weird smell / feel dirty and I always feel a bed bug is going to climb into my suitcase, come home with me and infest my entire condo unit and the thought of that alone TERRIFIES ME. After having the worst experience at the days inn Nanaimo and the Travelodge the past two weeks for work, I decided to do some research on smaller cleaner hotel/motels for my next stay when I came across the Arbutus Grove Motel in Parksville known for its cleanliness and housekeeping, after reading all the five star reviews I felt comfortable enough to book with them. Checked in, the customer service was amazing, he was super friendly and approachable and I was in shock with how clean and updated the rooms looked. Everything was white and spotless and some of the sheets and blankets even looked and felt new. I’ve never had a more comfortable stay in a hotel in my entire life and I’m so glad I came across the Arbutus Grove Motel. I am in shock and have no words with how immaculately clean everything was. I will definitely stay at the motel any time I’m out this way for work and I will refer this hotel to anyone who needs a place to stay in Parksville. Deserves more than 5 stars. THANK YOU ARBUTUS GROVE.

Rooms are large and very clean. Bed was very comfortable. The staff were excellent, and the location is great - lovely coffee shops and restaurants within walking distance. The rooms are also very quiet - cannot hear anything from your neighbours. Ample parking. 10/10

I stay here for work trips every 3 months. I love staying here. Convenient location, great price, friendly customer service. But the best part for me is how clean the rooms are, and you have everything you need in your room. I'm ALWAYS happy with my experience and will keep coming back.
