Despite the newness of the facility, this is one of the worst experiences I have had traveling. The bathroom wall to the main living area is a translucent piece of glass. I am sure it sounded like a great idea to some single architect, but it is a nightmare when more than one person stays in the room!
Going further down the "they really didn't think this through" path, there is an accent light in the bathroom that you can't turn off. Even better? The bathroom light is motion activated. Clever, right? Energy saving, even. What about in the middle of the night when you need to use the bathroom? Welcome to mid day brightness! Oh, and there isn't a way to disable it. Remember that translucent wall? Yeah, you just woke up everyone in the room, too.
The pool is nice, if a bit small. Too bad you can only access it through the exit stairwell because they forgot to put in an access door. Did I mention that the stairwell door takes you into the back of the bar/restaurant where you can trudge past the diners in your swimsuit? I hope the architect gets what they deserve.
I was going to go into the problems with the WiFi, but they seem trivial compared to the other problems--like how the shower leaks all over the bathroom floor. Or how the windows to the pool area lack any kind of soundproofing. I can hear the owner and his friends out there having a party. Yeah, the 9pm to 9am 'quiet hours' are for the guests, not the owner.
To finish, this is a fine place to stay if you: don't intend to use the parking garage, don't plan on using the wifi, are staying by yourself, bring really good earplugs, and have low standards in lodging.
I am not going back and I really caution others to consider the same.

Great hotel rooms and good service. The decorations are amazing. I felt in an art gallery. Lots of new technology in the rooms and electronics. Only issue is the limited parking in the building...they are very flexible though and are willing to move their own cars to fit yours. Of you don't find parking you can park outside on the main road. About 30 mins from Hollywood..45 mins from LA .. without traffic. Would definitely stay here again.. great bed and pillows!!!

Frank at the front desk is cool and copacetic!
The third party booking service I had used didn't send the reservation.
Frank was quick on his toes as he was able to help me get comfortable in my hotel room in an expedited matter.
The third party service were unable to fully fix the problem in which they created as Frank took the bull by the horns and went above and beyond with his hospitality knowledge to solve this dilemma.
I wanted to check out this new hotel as I am a fan of the upper elechlon of Best Westerns as they are great for the value.
The hotel room is very comfortable and nice one of the best I've been to in the Valley of Los Angeles.
It is definitely on par with the highly rated Best Western plus Inn Carriage I usually stay when I come down here for work....

There is a glass wall between the bathroom and the beds. When someone is using the bathroom and turns on the lights it will fully shine the whole room at nights. You will see the person who is at shower, witch can be very akward with family groups.
Breakfast is very expensive: 13 dollars for an omelet? I'll pass. Every item in breakfast is charged seperately.
Beds are too soft and uncomfortable. You will fall off if you are too on edge.
Pool area is fantastic and beautiful. One could say it is luxurious. The hotel is also very clean and nicely decorated throughout. It's such a shame the good parts are so greatly overshadowed by the bad parts.

Arrived at this hotel and it took 30 min for them to check us in. They boasted that it was a brand new hotel. Well our first room had only one bed even though on the phone we were told a room with two queens was available. There were four of us. The beds were comfy. I will give them that, but the room had ants. We couldn't leave a drink or a snack out because the next second ants were all over. Then we realized that there was no fridge. They never told us the rooms had no refrigerators. I called to ask and she said they were on the way. The pool which was most important to my son was filthy. Hair all over in it and the hot tub was out of order. They moved us the next night to a room with two queens. Well we get in there and realize that if you take a shower you have to do it with the lights off because the glass shows through to the bed area and sorry my kids don't want to see me shower. Yes everyone in your room can watch you shower. No one has gotten back to me about anything. Also our room cards did not work. I think that if your hotel isn't ready for guests or doesnt have everything the website says it does then they shouldn't open or it should be at a very discounted rate and guests should be informed at check in.
