Would have been a great review with the staff and accommodations, however our last night here has really ruined the experience.
Due to the intense snowfall in NY, our flight was canceled and we were rescheduled for the following day. Fortunately for us, Best Western had our current room available to book for another night. With our free day, we spent the time at Sea World and visiting family in the area.
The unfortunate part is that we returned to a room where our personal belongings were missing. I described the items in detail to the hotel staff, including where they were in the room when we left.
I explained to the front desk woman that the flight we were going on would be at 8AM, so we would be gone at 6, an hour before her manager was on site. She informed us she would call our room shortly to let us know what she could find out.
Her phone call to us wasn’t great news, stating that since housekeeping said they didn’t take anything, and simply apologized as if that was enough. Let me remind you, we are flying to NY where the snow is currently piling up. I’m in said room right now, and this literally just happened.
I wouldn’t be able to recommend staying here, especially since they were pretty messy with how they handled this.

This place is awesome for the price. Save money and get what you need. I travel and try and lower my company expenses. I am low maintenance. Just a bed, desk, bathroom and breakfast in a nice location near my customers. This place worked great for me. Plus the people were nice and made you feel at home. When in San Diego, this is the place for value.

The staff were friendly. The breakfast had so many options that all the kids were beyond happy. Children were ages 14, 14, 7, and 5. I was happy as the breakfast had eggs and sausage plus more options so not just pastries but protein. The room was clean and all appliances were working. We would stay again.

Staff is nice, breakfast was awesome, good food and they stayed open past breakfast closing time because we were late. They let us pick where our room was and that was awesome. Only a few little complaints - refrigerator didn't work the first night, then kicked on for some reason. The pool wasn't very clean anytime we went in it, a lot of debris and dead bugs, it was over chlorinated and under a lot of shade so it was cold 99% of the time. But besides the pool and the fridge, our stay was great 😊

Awesome staff.. way better than last time I was here back in January this year. it was the Chinese lady and the Indian guy at the front desk, the worst individuals I ever met. Anyways, awesome place and great staff. Highly recommended and definitely would like to stay here again next time I visit San Diego.
