Nice room, friendly staff. There is a decent amount of noise pollution though, as I heard stomping coming from above during the night and the sounds of doors opening startled me because they sounded so close that I feared it was my door. I would stay here again but just be aware of the noise

The rooms were extremely small! We booked a king bed with a couch. We got a closet. Staff was helpful tho and the served breakfast,but never again! I need space!!

This was definitely not my best Marriott stay...
From the first night: Outside the hotel there were several questionable characters. The hotel doesn't have a proper entrance, so it was hard to navigate the sidewalk and find the door. There should be at least a sign, greeter, or doorman.
Once inside, the front desk staff was unprofessional. They did not welcome me, recognize my status (Gold Elite) or provide me with the amenities I'm allowed. When I asked if I had a good room, they said yes, only to have a room facing a brick wall.
During our stay: the hotel was clean and refreshing. We have no complaints about our room, other than the horrific view.
The free breakfast in the morning was disgusting, if anything, cancel it and save the money. There was only 2 hot plates available, barely anything to drink, it felt like boot camp instead of a hotel.
The hotel was kind enough to hold onto our luggage the last day. We really appreciate this as it allowed us to explore the city.
In summary, this stay was way overpriced (average $200/night) for the service received. Staff was bad, membership benefits were not recognized or provided, special requests were all together ignored and never even acknowledged, and the "free breakfast" was worse than a boot camp dinner.
I will never stay at this hotel again.

We were very happy with our stay here. We stayed 4 nights and from the moment we arrived we were greeted and made to feel welcome. The front desk was very helpful. My daughter and I shared a King Suite which was very small (typical Manhattan hotel room) but cozy and comfortable. We had adequate room for our things. We were also surprised with how quiet our room was, we never heard any traffic or horns or other guests (very atypical when you’re staying downtown in a big city). We loved the shower, it was spacious and had a great shower head. Breakfast is provided until 10am and had many options to choose from which helped with our food budget (also, be advised in order to dine in you had to show proof of vaccination, this was true of most restaurants and establishments in NYC). The housekeeping and front desk staff were attentive and prompt when we needed extra towels and blankets; they are running with a smaller staff though so our room was “refreshed” after 2 nights but this wasn’t a problem. The hotel was very close to restaurants and subways which made getting around easier. The neighborhood is a tad sketchy (it is south of Times Square after all) but nothing extremely alarming or scary. There were plenty of cops and people out at all hours and as long as you’re confident and walk with a purpose (just like in any other major downtown city) you’re fine; I was never worried the whole time I was in NYC. This is a great and comfortable hotel for the price in Manhattan and a cozy place to land after long days of walking and sightseeing.

Lo súper recomiendo me costo aprox 6000 mil pesos por 4 personas tiene desayuno todos los días de 7 a 10 no te cobran más que un depósito de 50 dlls que te lo reembolsan a los dos días del checout súper céntrico limpio y además te guardan las maletas para que tú disfrutes mientras sale tu avión el check inn muy rápido el cuarto tiene micro refri y cafetera y está muy cómodo muy cerca del Madison square yo por eso lo elegí ya que fui a un concierto

Staff was great. Check in took a little long, but the staff was mindful, attentive, and worked efficiently to take care of everyone. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the view was lovely. Breakfast was simple but still tasty. Staff was very much on point checking people's vaccination which was good as the sit in space fills up pretty quickly. There was a grab and go set up outside the sit down dining space for those that didn't show / have vaccination.

The 2 queen room is very small, even for NYC. It probably would be better suited for 2 doubles. Not much room to move around or store luggage in the room, but we didn't spend much time in the room so it didn't matter. We had an issue with the A/C on the first night, when we told the front desk they sent someone up to fix it and it was fine for the rest of the trip. The bathroom toiletries were also not fully stocked when we arrived, but the front desk was able to give us what was missing as well.
The housekeeping only came by once during our 4 night stay. We weren't informed that there would be reduced housekeeping so that was unexpected.
The hotel is reasonably priced and the location is very convenient for walking around or taking the subway.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. There was nothing about my stay here that was pleasant besides the location. The staff is horrible. They lie and don’t care about helping to better your stay. They knew they did such a bad job that they don’t even ask how your stay was at the end because they don’t want to hear complaints. The hotel is HOT. They have thermostats in the room but they are just for show. I called an employee to come help me turn it down and he came up (also I believe he wasn’t sober) and just said that we can’t change the temperature. WHY send anyone up then???? There is no microwave in the room. You have to pay an extra $50 a night for parking. They put an expensive hold on the card that you don’t get back for over a week after you leave. My boyfriend and I both could barely sleep due to the heat. And once again not one employee cared to help us fix the issue. Horrible stay. Don’t recommend it at all. Don’t stay here!!!!! There are so many other hotels around here you can stay at instead where I bet the employees at least are kind and helpful.

El hotel me gusto muchísimo, las habitaciones y el baño son modernas, para dos personas nos dieron dos camas grandes y la vista es espectacular. La habitación tiene nevera y microondas, el televisor es gigante. Tiene caja de seguridad, escritorio y silla, espejo grande y closet para guardar y colgar la ropa. El wifi es muy rápido sin costo adicional. El desayuno por el COVID se da en la recepción pero uno puede tomar todo lo que desee (avena, yogur, café, muffins, cereales, bagels en paquete, jugo de manzana, cereal en barras, botellas de agua, mermeladas y cream cheese) hay que tener en cuenta que todos los días hay la misma variedad de productos. La primera noche solicitamos cobijas adicionales y llegaron rápido. En la recepción nos atendió un joven muy amable. Nos dejaron guardar las maletas después de hacer la salida y por varias horas. Se pudo realizar el pago final en efectivo y no hubo inconvenientes. La zona es muy central y queda cerca a Times Square, en las calles cercanas hay gente fumando en las noches pero no hacen contacto con uno. Nuestra fecha de estadía fue entre mayo y junio de 2021.
