This is a highly overpriced hotel that is old and rundown. We had a leaking toilet so we had to wade through water every time we went in the bathroom. The staff didn't care much about helping or appearing friendly. The beds were not comfortable. YOU ARE PAYING FOR LOCATION. You certainly are not paying for quality or amenities.

Dei 5 estrelas, mas se pudesse daria muito mais. Com certeza o hotel mais incrível em que eu já me hospedei. Estive hospedada entre 05/10/2018 e 09/10/2018. Escolhi um hotel com vista para o oceano e valeu muito a pena. A gente acorda vendo o oceano. O quarto está muito bem equipado. A cama é muito confortável, o travesseiro confesso que queria colocar um na mala e trazer para minha casa de tão bom que era. O banheiro muito limpo e com produtos de higiene de boa qualidade. Tem um cofre no quarto bem como ferro de passar roupa e tábua. O frigo bar é bem abastecido e ao contrário do que eu imaginava os itens do frigo bar não custavam uma fortuna como estamos acostumados a pagar. O ar condicionado é extremamente silencioso, nem da pra notar quando está ligado. Não há máquinas de gelo no prédio, porém basta discar na recepção a qualquer horário que um funcionário prontamente levará até seu quarto, enfim, o hotel está preparado para tudo. Li comentários de que o custo do estacionamento do hotel era caro, porém isso na Califórnia é um padrão. Li também que valia a pena deixar seu carro em outros estacionamentos e eu quase fiz isso, só esqueceram de dizer que em outros lugares toda vez que você tira seu caro a tarifa volta a cobra de novo e que o pagamento em todos os lugares por onde pesquisei era com o cartão de crédito, então além do valor gasto com o estacionamento você também teria de pagar o IOF quando voltasse ao Brasil (que é o meu caso). Deixar o carro com o hotel me poupou de ficar que nem louca atrás de parquímetros ou de estacionamento, então eu super recomendo Fora o hotel, a equipe toda está de parabéns, todos me trataram com muita atenção e respeito, mesmo eu não falando inglês tão fluentemente quanto eu gostaria. A localização do hotel também é fantástica, ao lado do pier e ao lado da 3rd Street Promenade Eu indico o hotel de olhos fechados e se um dia voltar a Santa Monica não pensarei duas vezes, ficarei no Georgian de novo.

When we were checking out, we found multiple valet charges even though we never parked at or near the hotel or even interacted with the valet in any shape or form.
If you happen to stay at the Georgian,
please check your receipt and make sure they don’t add fraudulent charges. Shame.
I hope the attempted thievery was worth the one star review.

My room was lovely and the food from the restaurant was exceptional; however, I was hugely disappointed in the customer service —or lack there of. On more than one occasion, the staff did not acknowledge me as I waited for assistance and did not offer to help me or my party when I/we were obviously struggling to get from one point to the next point. Communication is not their strong suit. Things weren’t clearly marked to help navigate new customers, and valet drop-off left our party standing with our belongings on a patch of grass with no sense of where to go next. 1 of the 3 of us was especially struggling, due to a degenerative muscle disorder. Now, it isn’t fair to fault others for people’s limitations, but in the hospitality business, you are suppose to make your customers feel like they matter and that you care, especially if the customer is struggling due to an impairment. On our last day at the hotel, I was handing my friend our bags from the top step; and while she set each bag down next to the bottom step, an attendant looked directly at her and said, “You’ve got it” and walked away. I could go on and on... I will never return.
**The clincher for me was when I went to the the bar to pick up an order I had phoned in to the restaurant. The person who was assembling my beverages asked if I was going to be able to handle it all. I told her I had no choice in the matter, and she told me I could use one of the trays for my beverages and plates but that I would have to bring it right back because they were extremely busy. She was unapologetic - if anything, she seemed bothered. I was made to feel like I was in the way.**

I had dinner at the Veranda restaurant. The food was tasty. The service is fantastic. From the moment I entered the patio, the most polite and friendliest staff greeted me with a genuine smile and kindest words and high level of hospitality. With post Covid, the hotel business is in crisis, but we, hoteliers and a to notch professionals like the Georgian hotel and veranda restaurant will make it and thrive! Nice ambiance.

The food, staff and location is amazing. I only came here for apps and wine - Jeff took amazing care off us. Always had a smile on his face and never left our glasses empty. I wish them luck with the soft opening coming up. JEFF you rock!!!

Eu fiquei aqui algumas vezes antes de escrever meu comentário. A equipe é incrível! Muito cortês e fazer você se sentir como um convidado em sua CASA. Essa é uma vantagem de se hospedar em um hotel boutique. O quarto fica no lado menor. Em uma visita minha geladeira não funcionou. Algumas vezes meu quarto foi colocado nas extremidades dos corredores ao lado de um armário de utilidades que a constante entrada e saída era barulhenta. O colchão e travesseiros eram incrivelmente confortáveis. As janelas se abrem totalmente permitindo uma bela brisa de ar fresco durante a sua estadia. O café da manhã no pátio frontal com vista para o mar foi a maneira perfeita de dizer adeus

Ive stayed here a few times before writing my review. The staff is amazing! Very courteous and make you feel like you're a guest in their HOME. That is a benefit to staying at a boutique hotel. The room is on the smaller side. On one visit my fridge did not work. A couple times my room was placed at the ends of the halls next to a utility closet that the constant in and out was noisy. The mattress and pillows were incredibly comfortable. The windows open up fully allowing a beautiful fresh air breeze during your stay. Breakfast on front patio overlooking the ocean was the perfect way to say goodbye
