We are staying at the Hyatt Place and it definitely a great place to stay. The breakfast is you usual complimentary breakfast but there is a nice gym and indoor pool.There is also ample parking. The staff was always nice and friendly.The rooms a modern and clean.I would definitely stay here again if I visited Poughkeepsie,NY.I will update with photos once my stay is over.

Os trabalhadores foram todos agradáveis, mas o lugar é curto com uma equipe. Eu reservei lá para o meu casamento. Eles nos disseram o dia errado para o nosso bloco de quarto terminando e 5 casais não podiam reservar um quarto devido a isso. Eles não se acomodariam. Então, consegui uma suíte para 2 noites para o casamento. Eles nos deram uma suíte queen quando pedimos uma suíte king e não acomodaria. Vimos formigas na área de café da manhã à noite e o teto estava vazando. O chão estava sujo, meus pés estavam pretos de andar sobre eles por algumas horas enquanto me preparava para o meu casamento. A suíte não tinha micro-ondas e eles cevada nos deram toalhas. Na manhã seguinte, fomos tomar um café da manhã quente e esperamos cerca de 10 minutos para que eles nos dissessem que tinham que fazer um novo lote, então esperamos mais 10 minutos. Não recomendo, principalmente para o seu casamento!

Mi habitación estaba limpia, era cómoda y, por supuesto, la ducha era increíble.El personal también fue profesional y se ocupó de satisfacer todas las solicitudes, sin importar lo molestas que fueran. Los trabajadores eran agradables, pero el lugar tiene poco personal. Reservé allí para mi boda. Nos dijeron que el día equivocado para el final de nuestro bloque de habitaciones y 5 parejas no pudieron reservar una habitación debido a eso. No se acomodarían. Luego obtuve una suite por 2 noches para la boda. Nos dieron una suite queen cuando pedimos una suite king y no acomodaríamos. Vimos hormigas en la zona del desayuno por la noche y el techo tenía goteras. Los pisos estaban sucios, mis pies estaban negros de caminar sobre ellos durante unas horas mientras me preparaba para mi boda. La suite no tenía microondas y cebada nos dieron toallas. A la mañana siguiente fuimos a desayunar caliente y esperamos unos 10 minutos para que nos dijeran que tenían que hacer un lote nuevo y luego esperamos otros 10 minutos. No lo recomiendo, ¡sobre todo para vuestra boda!

Workers were all nice but place is short staffed. I booked there for my wedding. They told us the wrong day for our room block ending and 5 couples couldn't book a room due to it. They wouldn't accommodate. I then got a suite for 2 nights for the wedding. They gave us a queen suite when we asked for a king suite and wouldn't accommodate. We saw ants in the breakfast area at night and the ceiling was leaking. The floors were filthy, my feet were black from walking on them for a few hours while getting ready for my wedding. The suite didn't have a microwave and they barley gave us towels. The next morning we went for hot breakfast and waited about 10 minutes for them to tell us they had to make a fresh batch then waited another 10 minutes. I do not recommend, especially for your wedding !

I had an excellent experience during my stay. My room was clean, comfortable, and of course, the shower was amazing.
The staff were also professional and took great care to accommodate every request, no matter how annoying. They also did their best even though they were understaffed. And always made sure to wear masks around other guests.
If you're staying in the area, I recommend booking this location if available.

Pior serviço ao cliente absoluto que recebi em qualquer hotel. Demorou apenas uma hora para falar com alguém do serviço de atendimento ao cliente para reservar um quarto, já que o código de grupo não funcionaria online. Depois de ser transferido algumas vezes, finalmente consegui reservar um quarto, até mesmo forneci ao gerente de plantão minhas informações de cartão de crédito e e-mail. Nunca recebi um e-mail de confirmação, então liguei de volta para saber os detalhes da minha reserva, apenas para saber que meu quarto nunca foi reservado e que o hotel estava esgotado para o casamento que eu iria participar. Passei mais uma hora com o atendimento ao cliente para trazer esse problema à atenção deles e disseram que não havia nada que eles pudessem fazer porque o hotel não atendia o número de telefone do atendimento ao cliente. Até perguntei por um gerente algumas vezes e eles disseram que não havia gerentes disponível para falar comigo. EU NUNCA FICAREI NUMA LUGAR HYATT NOVAMENTE E VOCÊ NÃO DEVE NUNCA!

O chuveiro é INCRÍVEL! Absolutamente surpreendente!!! Para as nossas necessidades, o Hyatt Place é muito perto da família ... um local perfeito. O quarto está limpo. A recepção é acolhedora, prestativa e amigável ... (mesmo que duas festas de noivas cheguem ao mesmo tempo). Recepção de elogios! A única falha foi tentar se comunicar com alguém no hotel antes da chegada. Tal como acontece com muitos, MUITOS "negócios orientados para serviços da era COVID", eles estão com pessoal insuficiente e lotados. Adicione a essa terceirização para chamadas telefônicas. É necessário um pouco de paciência até que a vida volte ao normal. Eu mencionei "o chuveiro é INCRÍVEL"?

Nós reservamos um quarto com duas camas e no check-in fomos informados que o quarto foi dado por causa de sites de reserva online. O único quarto que eles disseram que estava disponível em todo o hotel tinha uma cama para 3 de nós. A outra cama era um sofá-cama com um "colchão" fino e uma barra nas costas. Havia 1 funcionário no hotel no momento do check-in e ele estava lá há apenas 2 semanas. Sem gerente.Saímos depois de reservar um novo hotel - o Hyatt House em Fallkill, NY, que é um ótimo lugar para ficar.O Hyatt Corporate nos disse que não seríamos cobrados pela estadia que não fizemos no Hyatt Place. Nós não ficamos lá. Nem uma noite, nem 2 horas. Nós fomos cobrados por 3 noites no Hyatt Place onde nós não ficamos. Essas 3 noites mais 2 outros que realmente se hospedaram no Hyatt Place e também foram cobrados por essa estadia. O gerente geral é uma figura sombria que nunca está presente quando alguém liga. Estamos esperando que ela venha trabalhar para corrigir a conta.

Absolute worst customer service I've received at any hotel. Took an hour just to get ahold of someone from customer service to book a room since group code would not work online. After being transferred a handful of times finally was able to book a room I even provided the manager on duty with my credit card information and email. Never received an email confirmation so I called back to find out the details of my reservation only to learn my room was never booked and the hotel was now sold out for the wedding I was attending. Spent another hour with customer service to bring this issue to their attention and was told there was nothing they could do because the hotel would not answer customer service's phone number, I even asked for a manager a handful of times and they said there was no managers available to speak with me. I WILL NEVER STAY AT A HYATT PLACE AGAIN AND YOU SHOULDN'T EITHER!

How can we give a place less stars? Always try to give places a break,, the last year and a half has been tough for all service industries.
This place deserves negative 5 stars. We booked a room with two beds and at check-in were told the room was given out because of online booking sites. The only room they said was available in the entire hotel had one bed for 3 of us. The other bed was a pull out couch with a thin "mattress" and a bar across your back. There was 1 employee at the hotel at check-in time and he had only been there for 2 weeks. No manager.
We left after booking a new hotel - the Hyatt House in Fallkill, NY which is a great place to stay.
Hyatt corporate told us we would not be charged for the stay we didn't make at Hyatt Place. We did not stay there. Not one night, not 2 hours. We were billed for 3 nights at Hyatt Place where we did not stay. Those 3 nights plus 2 others we actually stayed at the Hyatt Place an were also billed for that stay. The General Manager is a shadowy figure who is never there when anyone calls. We are waiting for her to come in to work to correct the bill.

The shower is AMAZING! Absolutely AMAZING!!! For our needs, Hyatt Place is very close to family...a perfect spot. Room is clean. Front desk is welcoming, helpful, and friendly...(even if 2 bridal parties arrive at the same time). Kudos front desk! The only glitch was trying to communicate with someone at the hotel prior to arrival. As with many, MANY "COVID-era service oriented businesses", they are under-staffed and fully-booked. Add to that out-sourcing for phone calls. A little patience is needed until life goes back to some kind of normal.
Did I mention "the shower is AMAZING"?
