I recently moved to DTLA from south orange county. Because we got a late start on the day of our move, we were not able to move into our new apartment until the next day. So we checked into the Stillwell Hotel... let me just say this, it's not as bad as it looks. FYI, make your reservation on Expedia.

The hotel itself is quite old, however we didn't experience this as much of an issue. The main downside was the size of the beds, as they were rather small. Staff was friendly and the rooms were clean. Would certainly recommend to people looking for a budget hotel in downtown LA due to its great location and price.

While attending do you say 2022 conference we stayed in this hotel, location was awesome but service was pathetic! I also learnt a lesson in a tough way, whatever the venue of conference try to book your room there, Even if it is little expensive!

Customer service was absolutely phenomenal. Concerns were addressed promptly by friendly and proactive staff. I don't normally leave reviews, but customer service here was so good I actually took the time to write this. One star deducted because Wi-Fi is iffy in some rooms, and parking is expensive if you can't nab free on-street metered parking on Sundays or holidays.

We stood here for the anime expo event 2022 one of the most reasonable hotels in town 10 minute walk from the expo the hotel is a little on the older side BUT their customer service is amazing and the rooms are very clean there is also a Chinese restaurant downstairs and a bar 😋 we look forward to staying here every year for anime expo 👍🏻
