A localização foi perfeita! Eu gostei de quantas pessoas poderíamos dormir em nosso quarto, mas seria bom ter o quarto limpo, como um hotel normal. É um edifício antigo e eles têm dois bons restaurantes no piso principal, mas nós não comemos. Ele estava faltando algumas coisas que estamos acostumados a ter em um hotel, kleenex, secador de cabelo é um casal que eu posso pensar. Eu ficaria lá novamente apenas para dormir. Os quartos não são para impressionar ninguém. Nós tivemos lençóis e toalhas limpas.
Nós reservado seu apartamento de 2 quartos para o fim de semana. Eles disseram que não há serviço de manobrista disponível e quem confirmou (duas vezes) provavelmente não estava ciente! Nós continuamos a check-in e foram extremamente surpreendidos a pé embora um corredor muito antigo (mais uma vez malcheiroso) para o nosso quarto que estava em uma condição muito, muito pobre. O tapete parecia que tinha pelo menos 20 anos de idade e nunca limpo. As portas do banheiro tinha fechaduras no interior dos banheiros, mas eles não bloquear, e é claro que não havia sinal de uma ligação à Internet de trabalho. Quando eu perguntei ao cavalheiro de plantão na recepção que as fechaduras do banheiro precisam ser olhadas em toda a pretensão de um sorriso desapareceu e ele disse rudemente que era o 4 de julho e não havia ninguém de manutenção! Nós, obviamente, à esquerda imediatamente perder o nosso valor total da reserva, mas eu não consegui obter a minha família para ficar aqui. Pessoal onde muito simpáticos e prestativos, mas eu tenho medo de que é tudo o que era bom, o edifício é datado e não se sente confortável para estar dentro O quarto não parecia ou se sentir limpo, nós não imediatamente ter toalhas em nosso quarto, as camas pareciam ter sido feitas pela metade e os travesseiros pareciam não ter coberturas, a menos que fosse apenas o tipo de cobertura que eles estavam usando. Tivemos uma suíte de dois banheiros, em um dos banheiros o vaso sanitário não flush corretamente e o botão do chuveiro estava quebrado por isso não podia usá-lo, eles mencionaram que seria fixado no dia seguinte. No geral, não foi uma experiência agradável, nem sequer passamos uma noite e, quando encontramos algo melhor, fomos embora.

Isso inclui produtos de higiene básicos, como toalhas limpas. Na minha opinião, acho isso muito nojento. Você teria que lavar as toalhas sozinho. Eles fornecem serviços de lavanderia, mas são muito caros. Se você vai alugar quartos de apartamentos como quartos de hotel; eles devem ser limpos diariamente e com respeito. My favorite part of the stay was leaving and never coming back. Below are the reasons why you should never book this place. Want your questions to go unanswered? You’re in luck, this hotel will make sure that happens. Better hit the gym before you go, the door to the hallway has to be lifted and slammed in order to close. Want your room to double as a sauna? Then for sure this place is for you! King size bed? Yeah, for a mouse. Expecting running water the entire stay? Ha! How dare you expect to wash your hands during a global pandemic. I mean, who needs a shower after sleeping in a sauna all night? What the heck is the point of the amenity fee? No really, I want to know. If you figure it out please hit me up. I think the “hotel” uses that fee to pay to heat the room to lava temperatures. Checking in? Hope you don’t want it done conveniently or fast. Only had to do it about 4 times online, through texting and through a kiosk that didn’t work. This “hotel” is run like it’s their first day. Worst experience I’ve ever had.

¡No hay servicio al cliente en absoluto! Llegamos tarde y no había nadie para registrarnos. Tienes que poner una tarjeta para imprevistos (lo cual está bien) pero la máquina no funcionaba, por lo que no pudimos conseguir las llaves de la habitación. Se suponía que íbamos a tener artículos para beber ... no había ninguno. No hay secadores de pelo en la habitación como se indica. Las manijas de las puertas rotas y una de las habitaciones en las que estábamos tenía un aire acondicionado roto, por lo que la habitación se mantuvo a unos 80 grados. ¡Ah, y para colmo, los suelos de la ducha estaban viscosos! ¡La peor experiencia de mi vida!
No customer service at all!! We got in late and no one was there to check us in. You have to put a card for incidentals (which is fine) but the machine wasn’t working so we couldn’t get our room keys. We were supposed to have drink amenities…there were none. No hairdryers in the room as stated. Broken door handles and one of the rooms we were in had a broke AC so the room stayed about 80 degrees. Oh and to top it off the shower floors were slimy! The worst experience ever!!

Very bad experience staying here. Our room wasn’t properly cleaned before our entry, leaving colored hair all over the bathroom. We found 2 bugs in the our bed. There were stains on the walls and an entire kitchen but no dishes to cooke with. One more thing, our water didn’t work anywhere in our hotel: the shower, sink, or bathroom sink. We have video proof of every incident we encountered and they didn’t even give us an option to have a different room. We left with no hesitation, didn’t even stay the entire time and NO ONE will contact me back about a refund. Would YOU sleep in a bed with bugs in it ? I didn’t think so. Very upsetting stay, they only have an email for the customer service team and they don’t even text back.

Assim que ligamos para eles novamente, falamos com Stephanie da gerência por volta das 13h50 e ela imediatamente ofereceu um reembolso, mas como fizemos a reserva com a Expedia ela teria que ligar para eles e processar dessa forma. Eu fiquei aqui por 2 noites e eu recomendo a ninguém para não ficar aqui. O serviço foi indiferente e pobre. Dependendo da localização da sala, você pode ver diretamente em outras salas de inquilinos através das janelas. Isso era tão ruim que eu não estava nem mesmo confortável trocando de roupa no quarto. Os lençóis da cama eram tão desconfortáveis que eu acordei com a pele vermelha e irritada por toda parte. Não há termostato em nosso e foi escaldante (não poderia aberto janelas que é típico para um hotel). As paredes estão sujas com manchas de tinta e tinta lascada. Lâmpadas no quarto foram quebradas enquanto outros tiveram que ser ligado quando chegamos. As cabeceiras da cama não estavam presas às armações da cama e, em vez disso, apenas se apoiavam na parede atrás das camas. BEWARE This place stole my money! I canceled before their deadline and they emailed me they would refund my money in full. They still have not! It has been almost a year! Multiple phone calls, emails, and letters but they have never refunded my card! FRAUDULENT!
Tivemos que cancelar nossa reserva devido a problemas com a Covid. Recebemos um e-mail informando que nossa reserva foi cancelada, mas não recebemos nosso reembolso após vários meses tentando entrar em contato com eles. We had to cancel our reservation due to Covid issues. We received an email that our reservation was canceled but we have not received our refund after several months of trying to contact them. Their phone number mailbox is always full and no other way to contact them that I can find.

As unidades são bastante antigas, sujas e a pintura está bastante danificada. Bom lugar se você está planejando ficar perto do Millennium Park e você só precisa de um quarto para dormir. Sobre o estacionamento com manobrista, esteja pronto para uma limitação de tempo. Você pode levar seu carro para dentro / fora das 9h às 18h.

Be sure to not arrive early, even when I showed the check in desk the email confirming that request for early check was approved he was unwilling to allow me to check in one hour early. He did offer to allow me to leave my luggage in an unsecured area in the hallway. I will update if Iam able to check in for my prepaid stay.
If I could give 0 stars, I would. I booked a room months in advance, it was guaranteed with my credit card. When we arrived around 9:45pm, we were told by an employee of the building that the reception staff had already left an hour ago. So we were stranded with no hotel room and had to get to a different hotel for our stay. This is obviously insanely unprofessional and unacceptable. Never book a room there if you want to have a good time in Chicago.
The place is very good located but I never though that this kind of lodging could be found in hotels.com (it is more likely an Airbnb). There a couple of things that you could keep in mind. The reception hours is just form 11:00 am to 9:00 pm and not 10 amto 11 pm as they say on their advice. After hours there is a phone number that nobody takes care of it (the locution says that they are open form 10 to 10 but none answer it. The surveillance people are great but they do not have answer for the most common questions like parking, WiFi or towels and sheets. The units are quite old, dirty and the paint is quite damage. Good place if you are planning to stay close to the Millennium Park and you do just need the room for sleeping. About the valet parking, be ready for a time limitation. You can take your car in/out between 9 am to 6pm.
Booked a reservation through Booking.com. Canceled within the requisite time frame to get a full refund. I canceled this reservation on April 5. The reservation was for May 15-17. They have STILL NOT refunded my money. Their reason? Because of the pandemic, they will try to refund me when they can. Seriously. That's it. Still no refund. A legitimate business when not treat customers this way. Unprofessional and criminal.

Staff where very friendly and helpful but I’m afraid that is all that was good, the building is dated and does not feel comfortable to be in. The room did not look or feel clean, we did not immediately have towels in our room, the beds look like they had been half made and the pillows seemed to not have covers on them unless it was just the type of cover they were using. We had a two bathroom suite, in one of the bathrooms the toilet did not flush properly and the shower knob was broken so couldn’t use it, they did mention it would be fixed the following day. Overall not a pleasant experience, didn’t even spent one night and once we found something better we were gone.
We booked their 2 bedroom apartment for the weekend. The location seemed perfect and although we had seen some bad reviews we thought to our selves - 'its not super cheap so how bad can it be?'... Huge mistake. We had confirmed twice that they have a valet parking (paid of course) and it will be available since we had an infant with us. Once I reached there the reception desk was in one corner of this really old and smelly building. They said that there is no valet service available and whoever confirmed (twice) was probably not aware!We continued to check in and were extremely surprised to walk though a very old (once again smelly) corridor to our room which was in a very very poor condition. The carpet looked like it was at least 20 years old and never cleaned. The bathroom doors had locks on the inside of the bathrooms but they would not lock, and of course there was no sign of a working internet connection. When I asked the gentleman on duty on the reception that the bathroom locks need to be looked into all pretence of a smile vanished and he said rudely that it was the 4th of July and there was no one from maintenance!The hotel was apparently full so we could not be accommodated into another room. We obviously left immediately losing our entire booking amount, but I could not get my family to stay here. My question to the hotel management is that how come on an important holiday weekend like this they have no other staff on duty?? I would not recommend this to anyone. Avoid it it at all costs!
Before I came here I was quite nervous after reading the reviews as there was no cancellation policy. Honestly I don't know why people are so down on this place, yeah it's old, but its got history it's a cool building, especially the lobby, it has character it's a little rough round the edges, but if you want the ritz carlton, go stay there and pay their prices. It's not cheap, nothing is in Chicago with all their taxes, buy it's not an outrageous price either. I got an inner room its reasonably quiet , but if you want quiet dont stay in downtown, its very warm, and clean, and the location is brilliant . I would stay here again.
Las fotos de internet no tienen nada que ver con la realidad. De hecho, nos dijeron que no salen fotos del apartamento sólo de habitaciones. Nuestro apartamento tenía una ventana abierta y sin persiana. Un espejo de pie con el marco roto. Ni lámparas ni mesa ni mesillas de noche como en las fotos. En el techo había una humedad que iba descorchando la pintura.
Faltaba un trozo de madera de la cocina y unos de los fogones no funcionaba. A los armarios les habían arrancado las puertas. El aire acondicionado hacía un ruido tremendo y te despertaba por la noche. El suelo tenía manchas. El lavabo tenía la barra del toallero rota, la cortina de la ducha sucia y con moho. El plástico para que no saliera agua de la ducha también lleno de moho. No cambian las toallas ni hay toalla de pies. La basura la tienes que tirar tú en la calle a pesar de que dicen que hay un contenedor en cada planta.El hotel estaba en obras y al llegar no había nadie en la ridícula recepción pero sí el vaso de la bebida. Uno de los recepcionistas nos dijo que no podíamos cambiar de habitación porque el servicio de limpieza era por la mañana cuando en realidad el hotel estaba completo y no había opción a cambio. El hotel está muy bien situado pero es cochambroso y resquebrajado.
A mejorar en todos sentidos. Nos toco una habitación que tenía todo roto, recepción y servicios penosos y la limpieza casi inexistente. Y por no hablar de la decoración... parecía que estaba en la mismísima habitación del pánico. Las habitaciones están al lado de la vía del tren, por tanto cada 6 min un ruido increíble. Si algo tiene bueno y le doy 2 estrellas es por ubicación inmejorable, por lo demás nada recomendable. Lo barato sale caro.
La ubicacion ideal para "zapatear"por Chicago. Los ascensores te "transportan" a los años 50. Volveria a repetir sin lugar a dudas.
Debería darle vergüenza lo chantas que son. Nos cancelaron 2 días antes de ir aludiendo que había problemas de pago, siendo que el hotel que contrate después en otra ciudad no tuvo inconvenientes. Cuando escribí para ver como solucionarlo (tengo otras tarjetas) no me respondieron jamás. Al tener que buscar con urgencia otro hotel veo que las noches que tenía reservada estaban libres pero 9 veces más caras de lo que había contratado. Es decir, me cancelaron para poder subir el precio por el fin de semana desan Patricio. Son unas mierdas avariciosas.
Éste hotel está situado en el corazón del centro de Chicago, a 2 cuadras del tren que te lleva al aeropuerto, en la esquina del hotel puedes abordar autobuses o el metro. Las habitaciones son cómodas y limpias. También cuentan con una pequeña cocina integral donde encontrarás trastos de cocina, refrigerador, tostadora, cafetera y microondas. Tienen aire acondicionado y calefacción. Hay wifi en todo el hotel, el personal está las 24 hrs por si necesitas algo, además de que son amables y dispuestos a ayudarte. Cabe señalar que la habitación no tiene servicio de limpieza a menos que lo pidas con un costo extra. Aunque el edificio es antiguo, se ve cuidado y le siguen dando mantenimiento. Nos encantó que todo estaba muy cerca.
I’m going to talk about the CONS first, since they outweigh the PROS: When we booked it, I had no idea how much negative reviews that the place has garnished. From complaints of roaches- to even lice- I was pretty concerned. Of course it wasn’t that bad- but they falsely advertise rooms with stock images that they got off of google images. No seriously, reverse google search it and it is almost laughable. It’s a great location- but at the end of the day, it is not good service and the rooms are painfully “okay”. From what I understand, they just rent out vacant apartments as hotel rooms- and it really shows. Since it’s an apartment building, they don’t have cleaning services. That does include basic toiletries such as clean towels. In my opinion, I think that’s pretty gross. You’d have to wash the towels yourself. They provide laundry services but they’re way overpriced. If you’re going to rent out apartment rooms as hotel rooms; they should be cleaned daily and respectfully.Upon arriving, there were crumbs scattered all underneath the bed. I tried calling the front desk and ask them to clean it while we were away, we even said at one point to just bring us a vacuum and we’d do it ourselves; but I was told “they would do something about it” and never got a reply since then. The place is nowhere near what they advertised- it is very dinky, shabby, and not well kept (dirty carpet that’s peeling at the ends, fecal matter near the bottom of the toilet from lack of cleaning, crumbs everywhere from piss-poor vacuuming, etc.) My boyfriend pulled a drawer out of the desk and it immediately fell apart.You are only playing for location- I would strongly recommend anyone to just go through Airbnb to get a more quality and cheap service that delivers a far better alternative.Here are the PROS; sorry, it’s a short list:The location was good. It was within walking distant of all the places we wanted to go. The mini kitchenette was a nice touch even though we barely used it. I liked the renovated bathroom, and I’m glad the A/C did it’s job since it’s been crazy hot.Overall, it’s a clean bed with a toilet and a shower with a kitchen for optional use and a fridge (which we did used for our cooler items we brought). But if the other hotels weren’t booked like they were, I wouldn’t have stayed here. It was definitely a last resort hotel option.
To start, THERE ARE COCKROACHES. Staff was somewhat accommodating but helpful which is the reason i didn’t leave a one Star. You cannot check in until 4:30pm. Check out is no later than 10am. We arrived and had to park a couple blocks away which was totally doable since the weather was great. We had to pay $50 for park but once we checked in the hostess told us we could’ve waited and gotten half off. The entrance because of construction was hard to find but manageable. Hostess was very nice. The building needs updated but I suppose an old building will feel that way. Once we were in our room for the night around 10:30pm and got ready for the night in, there were COCKROACHES. When I called the front desk lady to tell her, she stated “Well, we don’t have any more rooms but you can check out for a full refund but you won’t find anywhere else this late at night. Would you like me to bring bug spray?” To which I responded “well, how convenient, you just happen to not have any rooms but you DO have bug spray?” She apologized and immediately was helpful. She sent the photos I took to management. She also stated that she will have management to call the next morning as they aren’t in until 10am. Next day arrived and check out was smooth. We waited for them to call and SHOCKER, they never did. Once we called them again, we spoke with Stephanie in management around 1:50pm and she immediately offered a refund, but because we booked with Expedia she would have to call them and process it that way. I stayed here for 2 nights and I highly recommend to anyone to not stay here. The service was unresponsive and poor. Depending on room location, you can see directly into other tenants rooms via windows. This was so bad I wasn't even comfortable changing clothes in the bedroom.The bed sheets were so uncomfortable that I woke up with red, irritated skin all over. There was no thermostat in our room and it was blazing hot (couldn't open the windows either which is typical for a hotel). The walls are dirty with paint smear and chipped paint. Lamps in the room were broken while others had to be plugged in once we arrived. The head boards were not attached to the bed frames and instead just leaned against the wall behind the beds. There were blinds in the room that had been installed upside-down so they couldn't be raised or closed (didn't realize this was possible before). Honestly there's probably more but if this hasn't scared you off yet you'll just have to experience it for yourself.
The location was perfect! I liked how many people we could sleep in our room, but it would of been nice to have the room cleaned, like a normal hotel. It is an old building and they have two nice restaurants on the main floor, but we did not eat at them. It was missing somethings that we are use to having at a hotel, kleenex, blow dryer are a couple I can think of. I would stay there again just to sleep. The rooms aren't to impress anyone. We did have clean sheets and towels.

La ubicación es buena pero la limpieza escasa. Por debajo y detrás de la cama estaba todo lleno de polvo y sin limpiar desde hace mucho. La mesa con la tele todo lleno de polvo. Tenganlo en cuenta cuando reserven
Buen precio y ubicado muy estratégicamente! Un lugar para volver. Pero deberían mejorar de manera urgente: el wifi en los apartments, la falta de asaderas, tabla de picar y una vajilla para apoyar platos y cubiertos! El personal muy buena onda!
