A localização é ótima. Check-in e check-out foi simples e a equipe foram amigável. O quarto era básico, mas limpo e bem equipado. Às vezes você tinha que esperar pelo banheiro, particularmente no período da manhã, quando as pessoas se preparavam para tomar banho.O quarto foi à direita próximo ao lobby e você pode ouvir todas as conversas - incluindo alguns no 1am e 6am. Não foi super barulhentos mas desejo as horas tranquilos foram melhor aplicada / a recepção pediu às pessoas para se deslocar para os seus quartos ou no exterior.

Hostel bem equipado, silencioso e limpíssimo. Ficamos em um hostel na mesma cidade e foi decepcionante. Tivemos um atraso no vôo e tivemos que escolher um lugar para passar a noite e o Urban Holiday Lofts superou nossas expectativas. Apenas registro que o tivemos que tomar o café no quarto, pois saímos muito cedo e não pudemos usar a cozinha que já estava pronta para o café da manhã.

Os quartos eram limpos e espaçosos. Nós apreciamos o armário no quarto que nos permitiu colocar a bagagem fora do caminho. A cozinha e a área comum eram limpas e fáceis de usar. A equipe (recepção e limpeza) foi muito confortável e muito útil.As banheiras tinham sobras de água em uma depressão na frente. Não era ótimo, mas não era bruto. Havia uma fila para os banheiros em torno de 8-10am, então temos que planejar em torno disso.

Hostel razoável. Perto da estação de metrô e oferece um café da manhã simples mas bom. Pontos negativos são: muito barulho (ouve-se todo barulho do corredor e outros quartos) e não possui elevador para poder subir com as malas, (além disso, o tamanho do degrau é pequeno, menor que o pé, o que requer mais cuidado principalmente para descer e pode ser mais complicado para alguém que tenha algum tou de dificuldade de locomoção).

Eu fiquei aqui duas vezes nas últimas 2 semanas, e tive uma ótima experiência ambas as vezes. Eu fiquei em um quarto compartilhado. Eu recomendo este belo local se você gosta de poupar dinheiro enquanto ainda conseguir um ótimo lugar para dormir. Todas as pessoas que conheci eram muito legais, respeitosas e mantinham suas áreas agradáveis. Lembre-se de trazer um cadeado se quiser proteger seus pertences. Todos os funcionários que conheci eram ótimos, e as regras eram claras e lógicas para um albergue. Melhor preço em Chicago para o que você está recebendo, de longe.

It was excellent! It's a very unique hotel where it's not only right next to a corner store, but it has no elevators. It has three narrow sets of steps that go up four floors. The rooms have bunk beds! The bathrooms are in separate places though, but that's cool too. Oh, it has an open kitchen too, with a pool table, arcade machine and other stuff. I highly recommend it.

This is one of the most well managed places I have stayed. I am a full time world traveler that has been to 29 countries and counting.Very rarely is everything so clear, clean, beautiful, and perfectly located. The attention to detail is impeccable.I am from Chicago. I have lived downtown for over 20 years before I left to travel full time. My recommendation for Urban Holiday and their other locations can't be any higher.You will not be disappointed.If you're a foreign traveler coming to Chicago the first time, you'll have a great experience. The location is near two hot neighborhoods with literally everything you could want. Restaurants, cafes, parks, shops, transportation and culture are all nearby.Don't look any further. Just book a stay here.

I stayed here twice in the last 2 weeks, and had a great experience both times. I stayed in a shared room. I highly recommend this beautiful spot if you like saving money while still getting a great place to sleep. All the people I met were really cool, respectful, and kept their areas nice. Do remember to bring a lock if you'd like to secure your belongings. All of the employees I met were great, and the rules were clear and logical for a hostel. Best price in Chicago for what you are getting, by far.

Super cool place. My first experience in a hostel was here and it was solid. It's a noisier part of town. Our room was very small but it was all we needed. Kind staff. Free breakfast in the cool upstairs common room was nice. I really liked the blankets, even if they're a bit small. The aesthetic is fun and it's pretty homey.

The rooms were clean and spacious. We appreciated the closet in the room that allowed us to put luggage out the way. The kitchen and common area were clean and easy to use. The staff (front desk and cleaners) was very accommodating and very helpful.
The bath tubs had leftover water in a depression towards the front. It was not great but not gross. There was a line for the bathrooms around 8-10am so have to plan around that.

Me gustó mucho el hotel por su tranquilidad, la cocina para desayunar y la amplitud de las habitaciones. El personal también fue muy amable y servicial. Lo único que criticaría serían las duchas. Resultaba muy difícil regular el agua. O muy fría o hirviendo.

Buena opción para pasar unos días en Chicago con fácil combinación para llegar al centro. El personal muy amable y atento en todo momento.Tal vez le falte algún baño más. Tampoco hay ascensor y la escalera es muy estrecha y empinada. Por suerte nuestra habitación estaba en el primer piso.

This was our first stay as a family in a hostel( we usually find a $$ hotel) and we loved it! Amazing location in a hip neighborhood and close to public transit. A nice big room, comfy beds( bunk beds that are comfy..wow) and clean. A hearty breakfast and lovely lounge. Best of all friendly staff and visitors from all over. Shout out to Tim who created us with a smile everyday and made us feel welcome. We will be back!

The location is great. Check-in and out was simple and staff were friendly. The room was basic, but clean and well-equipped. Sometimes you had to wait for the bathroom, particularly in the mornings when people would line up for showers.
Our room was right next to the lobby and you could hear all conversations - including some at 1am and 6am. It wasn't super rowdy but I wish the quiet hours were better enforced/the front desk asked people to move to their rooms or outside.

This hostel is awesome. Just be aware that the neighborhood is very lively so there might be people in and out, late. Overall people seem to respect "the come in quiet policies". This is the first hostel where there were people closer to my age in it, which was great! I stayed in an 8 person female dorm. It really worked out. The staff is also very friendly. The room was pretty well kept. I had some issues with the shower. It was pretty calibrated and the drain was slow but it wasn't a huge deal. Overall if you are visiting Chicago and want to stay in a hostel, stay in this one. It's the second one I've been to, in Chicago and I probably will be back.

Nos quedamos en una habitación privada con cuatro camas. El único problema que tuvimos fue que las paredes son como papel....se oye todo aun que se hable con voz normal. Personalmente no me molestó demasiado; volvería a quedarme aqui porque el lugar es muy conveniente al metro y hay buenas cosas para hacer alrededor.
