Beautiful grounds and location.The room was old school but comfortable. Furniture was lacking.Large windows, old carpets. No desk in rooms at the Palissade tower.Pricey
Loved the place. Super clean and sparkly Spacious room. Good amenities - they have tons of options for restaurants, spa services , Barbara/salon etc. The room has a tablet with all information . In room dining options - lots of options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Valet parking. Friendly staff. Good location - very close to the beach, restaurants, Santa Monica pier, 3rd Street promenade. All these are at walkable distance from hotel.
Remember to use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏᴍ when booking a place. This web site will compare countless booking websites and usually will have prices a lot cheaper than others! Thank me later on! This place is one of the highest rated in the area. I've been coming here for years. If you stay for a few nights you definitely won't be let down. Nice hotel. Great location. Great views. Being a Fairmont member helped with upgrades etc. There are PLENTY of great restaurants all within walking distance so pack your walking shoes and beach wear!!!
Don't stay here if you want to sleep. They've opened an open-air bar/club on the hotel property, right next to rooms, that plays loud music until 2am and you can even feel the bass in high floor rooms. There are plenty of other great hotels in the area without this problem (would recommend the Proper Hotel a couple block away).
The location is great. The restaurant and housekeeping staff are great, too. The hotel is however not in good condition. The lobby is nice, but the room was full of damaged furniture and worn fixtures. The worst part was that I chose an upgraded ocean view room, which also looks over the front courtyard area of the property. On a Thursday night the music was blaring from whatever event was going on... Starting about 10 pm and carrying on surprisingly until about 2 am. This hotel is resting on its laurels. There are nicer, newer and overall better hotels in Santa Monica.

Had a great time, secure, comfortable, lots of actors, celebrities, fireplaces and right on the 🌊 ocean breezes,....night is a great party time and daytime, poolside is truly 5 ✨👍 star service! Arnold Schwarzenegger has an interest here and they also offer ⛳ GOLF indoor super high tech simulator golfing on most any course worldwide! Golf professionals on staff. It's, almost , ALMOST as good as the Beverly Hills Hotel,...Miramar comes in second overall based on my, MY living here and in Dallas, Texas. It is the MUST go see/stay "in place" to be in the Los Angeles California area!
It is not often I come across a hotel in continental (US) with this level of service. It surprises me how from the Valet, front desk to waiters and guest services staff were so friendly and cordial. Rooms are well furnished, location is great, food and drinks good! Service is out of this world. Only compares to other high end hotels around the world. Whoever is hiring, training and managing this team is certainly doing a fantastic job. Tips: bungalows, did not get them this time, but seem to be a great option for families; explore the city and options off beaten path… Again can’t stressed how good service is…

Es bonito lugar para alojarse e ir en la playa caminando ya que solo atraviesas la calle y puedes disfrutar tu hermoso día
Es un muy buen hotel; sin embargo ha bajado la calidad de sus servicios. Algunas partes del hotel están un poco deterioradas. El acceso para discapacitados es bien feo.
Un poco viejo el hotel y se nota en las habitaciones pero la localización y la barra The Bungalow están increíbles. Regresaría sin duda. Buen servicio y aunque me gustarían habitaciones más modernas por el precio no están tan mal.
La ubicación es ideal, frente a la playa, parque para caminar muy seguro. En cuanto a la calidad del servicio es excelente, personal muy servicial y atento. La calidad de los cuartos es buena, aunque podría mejorar. En general le daría 4.5 estrellas. Lo mejor de todo es el servicio, si vas a tomar unas copas, pide un daikiri de fresa, delicioso.
