Myself, some colleagues, and some of our best clients came into town for a large event. We obtained a room block at the Fairmont Sonoma, and also planned a dinner and cocktail hour in their Harvest Suite for a large group. Cecilia was fantastic and very understanding of changes being made during the planning process. During our dinner event, Brian was excellent. He communicated perfectly and went above and beyond to accommodate dining outside while it was getting dark. Mckayla and Tony also provided great service during our dinner. All around a great experience at the Fairmont Sonoma

We chose the Fairmont for our orthodontic conference four years ago and could not be happier that we did.We JUST completed our conference weekend and everything was over the top incredible.The food... the FOOD!AMAZING!!All of our attendees were simply blown away with the spreads (off site, on site, breakfasts, catering).I know this team is recovering from the pandemic and they still absolutely pulled it off in every way - from the way we were greeted, to staff saying hello to us around the grounds, to the cleanliness and hospitality.We would go back again in a heartbeat.This property is special - older and has character.Simply beautiful with so many activities and a short drive to downtown.We highly recommend the Fairmont Mission Inn and cannot say enough about Patti and her staff.THANK YOU so much for giving 300 orthodontists and their families the most incredible memories - and for treating us so kindly!WELL DONE!!Dan and Julie Rejman
Getting to work with the Fairmont team, specifically Debbie and Tracy, made our entire wedding planning experience so seamless! What an experience. Both ladies were incredibly helpful from the first meeting on-site, guiding us through all the decision-making, and helping us bring our Welcome Dinner and Wedding Day visions to life. Having our Welcome Dinner at the Fairmont was the best decision since the exquisite aesthetic, service and style of food carried from day to day. Both of our families and guests were so warmly greeted upon checking in and our guests felt so pampered with the many amenities that Fairmont Sonoma had to offer during their weekend visit. Our families were catered to and with all the hustle and bustle, the Fairmont staff ensured we had everything we needed throughout our stay from in-room catering service to assistance with all our wedding items being shuffled around. The Golf Club was the perfect venue in that it provided an outdoor and indoor experience from ceremony, cocktail hour and dinner. Whether it was dancing the night away or coveting the dessert bar to lounging by the fire pit with a cigar, it couldn’t have been a more perfect night with all of our loved ones. My husband and I only wished that the night would have lasted forever.
Spent the day at the spa. Very nice service, had a facial. The spa amenities were ok, I've been to better days spas in the same price range. The reason for 4/5 is solely on the fact the spa needs some upgrades. Feels a bit dated.
The room was quaint and cozy, but I had to remind myself I was paying more for the stay in Sonoma, CA, wine country. This hotel doesn't have elevators and is fashioned in an old style. Warmly decorated, friendly staff, it's as if nothing has changed here.

Hosted our Board of directors meeting here. and it was short notice.Great location and beautiful hotel. The event and hotel staff were wonderful to work with.They made sure our group was taken care of every step of the way and made it so easy! They knocked it out of the park! Would definitely recommend the location!
First off when we got to the room it smelled like a cheap motel. It definitely needs updating for a 5 star hotel. The restaurant was amazing but front desk guest service was sub par. My daughter couldn’t sleep the first night because there was a dog barking the entire night. We are animal lovers and want to keep it pet friendly but then we saw there was going to be a wedding right below us the next night. I called front desk and spoke to a woman in detail to make sure my daughter was able to sleep the second night and never heard back from anyone. And the cleaning people never came to clean our room. I expect poor service from a cheap motel but when I’m paying 5 star prices I expect much better service.
Thank you for a great weekend - we arrived on a wet Thursday afternoon greeted with a glass of bubbly and a quick check in. Which after a long wet day of travel was amazing. What I most enjoyed about the Sonoma Fairmont were its perks. Excellent Concierge wonderful evening bands, stretch classes, hiking tours, mountain bikes and wine tastings. Thank you. Each experience was unique and added to our Sonoma trip. There is only so much wine one can drink and having access to spa, stretching classes, bikes and gym made for great refresher. The guided hike and historical tour of Jack Landon’s park - great way yo start the morning. Big shout out to their hiking staff. Our Concierge was also great help. A big thanks in helping us fill some voids in our wine tour schedule.

We had a great stay. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. The staff, particularly at the front desk, were really helpful. There are usually tastings in the lobby in the afternoons. Our room was clean and comfortable. It’s a short distance from the square but there are bikes available and a courtesy car that runs in the afternoon and evenings. Would stay here again.

During a recent trip to the area exploring wineries, a buddy and I opted to stay at the Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa and I have to say it was a great call.Upon check-in at the front desk, the GM of the Fairmont personally greeted us and offered some complimentary sparking wine.We were then escorted to our room to settle in and relax.After getting settled, we headed down to the lounge area and enjoyed some delicious selections off their well curated wine list thanks to their sommelier offering some suggestions once he ascertained where our palates lied.There are several outdoor spaces to relax drinking wine, some near fire pits; however, we opted to stay inside because it was a bit cool outside.The room was very clean with a nice historic charm to it; however, there were still enough modern touches to make it technology friendly.The beds were comfortable and offered a peaceful night of rest before heading out to more wineries the next day.I would definitely return to the Fairmont for a stay the next time I'm in the area.
We only stayed one night traveling through Sonoma but should have stayed longer.I'll definitely be back.The staff was attentive and helpful and the property was peaceful and relaxing.We ordered food and wine and hung out in the bar area for the evening.

We just stayed there this past weekend and you can usually count on the Fairmont Sonoma mission inn spa to be pretty consistent, high-quality, and a positive experience. The grounds are beautiful and the hotel staff amazing. However, upon my arrival,I was surprised and startled because I felt that the valet who approached my car and window was not masked and you would think that due to the sensitivity of Omicron,I thought that he would’ve at least approached my car with a mask on since I had a mask on. That was not a great start to my weekend. The arrival thenat the front desk was very positive and hospitable as I was approached with a glass of champagneand the gentleman kindly accepted my request to be on a lower level so that we didn’t have to climb as many stairs in that building. It’s something to consider if you have trouble climbing stairs as there is no elevator in that building. The room was beautiful, however I did not get a great night sleep, and paying $500 a night at a luxury hotel and for the bed to be lumpy and uncomfortable is unacceptable. I let the front staff know the next morning and they kindly removed $100 so instead of $500 it was $400 for a bad night sleep. I really hope they upgrade their beds. We booked massages and the spa was amazing and I highly recommend the spa even if it’s for the day and you sleep somewhere else.

Maravilhosamente situado em um paisagismo maduro e paredes cobertas de hera. Ambiente muito confortável e convidativo. No entanto, algumas áreas estão negligenciadas e vimos grandes detritos perto do caminho da passagem da garagem e móveis de exterior na entrada da garagem (não o que eu esperava para Fairmont, especialmente porque eles tiveram muito tempo para se refrescar durante o período de Covid). Alguns quartos foram remodelados (estilo Ikea) e alguns estão em necessidade desesperada de remodelação. O SPA deve ser o que você deve fazer em sua lista. É absolutamente sereno e silencioso. Beautiful old Inn, with great staff and good food. But do not be deceived, this is not up to the Fairmont standard of hotels. The Internet in the room was spotty at best and difficult to login to. The shower was difficult to adjust. There are no pens or paper in the room to take notes or write phone numbers down. The rooms are only cleaned every other day, which for a budget hotel would be fine, but for a allegedly five star hotel that didn’t work. They gave you small little shampoo bottles, and since I didn’t bring them every day it really wasn’t enough. There is no store to buy snacks etc. so you have to go out to convenient store at night if you want something like that. There are no Coke machines or other such vending machines so again this is a limitation. Be aware that their cancellation policy says if you leave early you must pay for the days you do not use. I think it’s a beautiful hotel in with some work it could be better. But the policies and the intention to minor detail take it way out of fear of a five-star hotel. We paid for what was described as a deluxe luxury room. It was about what you would expect in a Holiday Inn or something like that. Again great staff, good food, and overall a beautiful venue. I think they need to review policy and attention to detail but clearly this is not a five star Fairmont property. If you’ve been to the spring hotel and compare it frankly it’s day and night.
Beautifully nestled in mature landscaping and ivy covered walls. Very comfortable and inviting setting. However, some areas are neglected and we saw large debris close to the garage walkway path and outdoor furniture at the entrance of the garage, (not what I expected for Fairmont, especially because they had ample time to freshen up during Covid period). Some rooms have been remodeled (Ikea style) and some are in desperate need to remodeling. The SPA should be your must do on your list. It's absolutely serene and quiet. 94 degree pool and so much more. This was not our first time and it won't be last. Amazing management, staff and employees. Beware, the beds are too high for short people or those with arthritic hips and knees.

We did the day pass for the pool. It was expensive but a fun experience. They don't allow outside food and their pool cafe is limited. The waters were warm and pool seating comfortable with umbrellas.

Peaceful and serene. But I give it a 5 because of Customer Service. Everyone from the time we drove up till checking out was so kind and sweet Loved our Mission Suite. Now this is a older place but its indeed done well. Compliments to the Staff.
Beautiful grounds and caring staff. Lots of flowers in bloom (early in Spring) so I photographed the hotel, unusual for me. I didn't like my room. Bathroom double doors did not provide complete privacy because there is a big opening where they "meet" in the middle and they are translucent. The exhaust fan was not working. On the plus side was a comfortable king size bed and a complimentary bottle of wine. The hotel restaurant was too expensive. I paid $19 for bacon and eggs. However, food was good and restaurant staff was friendly and efficient.

Eu nunca tive serviço de quarto entregue tão rapidamente, então isso é uma grande vantagem. O quarto em si parece ter sido recentemente atualizado e a remodelação do banheiro é especialmente agradável. First full day in and we’re pretty impressed, even with the “red-tier” COVID restrictions in place. The hotel staff has been absolutely INCREDIBLE. Everyone is so warm, welcoming, and eager to help. We’ve ordered room service twice now, and both times it was delivered within 15 mins of ordering....I’ve never had room service delivery so quickly so that’s a huge plus. The room itself appears to have recently been updated and the bathroom remodel is especially nice. The only issues I’ve encountered so far are the walkways flooding with large pools of standing water due to the rain and what appears to be pretty sever water damage to one of the walls in the bathroom.
A wonderful gem in the heart of Sonoma. The hotel is very well run, it feels very safe mid-pandemic and all the staff is pleasant, professional and attentive. We stay there often and enjoy each of our trips. The pool is kept at the perfect temperature the winter, which is important to us. We are also grateful for the electric car charging stations, and the food is consistently amazing, as are the rooms and amenities in general. The atmosphere around the grounds during the evening is peaceful and romantic. There clearly is a lot of history around the property, yet it still feels hip and contemporary. Overall, top ratings in every category from where we stand.
