If I could give no stars I would. Staff did not follow protocol and gave a stranger a key to my room. The security let this person go and did not even take the key card from the stranger.The security said it was a key card for another Hilton, but your third party security didn’t care, he was more worried about being on his phone.Look at the video of what took place in the lobby the night of November 26.Let alone no one cared to contact me regarding this matter.The manager didn’t even want to talk to me.Your staff needs training to show concern, empathy, and understanding that guess pay for a room, security and safety. Se eu não pudesse dar estrelas, eu daria. A equipe não seguiu o protocolo e deu a um estranho a chave do meu quarto. O segurança soltou essa pessoa e nem pegou o cartão-chave do estranho. A segurança disse que era um cartão-chave para outro Hilton, mas sua segurança terceirizada não se importou, ele estava mais preocupado em estar no telefone. Was told by front desk that I had $60 in food and beverage credit to use before end of my trip (2 guests, 3 days, $10pp per day). This was wrong as I later found out the credit expires daily so I really only had $20 per day. Was surprised to see a charge on my credit card the next week for money I was told I had in credit. Wouldn’t have gotten breakfast on the last day if I had to pay for it out of pocket.This hotel is outdated. Likely last renovated in late 90’s. Not worth the spend. Bad location next to the highway. Better off staying in the city or near the beach.
Stunning hotel with a very convenient location. I’m happy to say that this hotel is certainly a keeper. I came to this hotel for a 1 night stay and the experience was great. I arrived to an expertly clean hotel and room with great amenities. My room was a two-bed room that came with a microwave, mini fridge and Keurig machine. The room had k-cups with Coffee Bean brand coffee which was a pleasant surprise. I love that the hotel had a bar, restaurant and mini-mart corner where you can buy treats for your stay. Overall the staff was great and very friendly for the exception of one older lady in the morning who was running the front desk and was a total grouch. My main issue with this hotel was the fact you have to pay $22 dollars a night just to park your car on their lot, it was honestly a huge bummer. Overall, I loved this hotel and plan to stay at it again because it’s close to Old Town and the trolley station which takes you all over San Diego! Cheguei a um hotel habilmente limpo e quarto com ótimas comodidades. Meu quarto era um quarto de duas camas que veio com micro-ondas, frigobar e máquina Keurig. O quarto tinha k-xícaras com café da marca Coffee Bean que foi uma agradável surpresa. Eu amo que o hotel tinha um bar, restaurante e um mini-mercado onde você pode comprar guloseimas para a sua estadia. Em geral, a equipe foi excelente e muito amigável para a excepção de uma senhora mais velha de manhã que estava a funcionar na recepção e foi um resmungão total. Meu principal problema com este hotel foi o fato de que você tem que pagar US$ 22 dólares por noite apenas para estacionar o seu carro no seu lote, foi honestamente uma enorme chatice. No geral, adorei este hotel e pretendo ficar nele novamente porque fica perto da Cidade Velha e da estação de bonde que leva você por toda San Diego!

Beautiful location in Old Town San Diego. Walking distance to restaurants. Check in was easy. Room was nicely furnished, clean and comfortable. The only downside was that directly outside of our room our view was limited to a couple of huge mechanical units of some sort, so that was unfortunate. Other than that, great experience!
We visited my daughter who is stationed in the Navy at San Diego. We didn'tspend much time in the hotel other than sleeping and a visit to the bar for a beverage. Initial impressions of the hotel was really good as we were exhausted from a 20 hour drive from the State of Washington. It was very early in the morning and we found out that our daughter who booked the room for us didn'tget a earlier check in time for us, so the clerk told my wife to check back at 9am. So we slept in our car on the street and returned at 8am. Check in for our room was at 3pm that afternoon. The front desk person got us a room after another return around 11am and we settled in for a exhausted visit with our daughter. I appreciated the effort. Overall a rough experience,the room was really nice and the accommodations great except the empty shampoo, conditioner,and half full body wash containers in the shower. Front desk had that done for us quickly. I don't swim but my wife does, the pool was blocked off for maintenance. The hotel does look well maintained however it really noisy. Walls allow other occupants conversations to be heard. Unfortunately we had guests with pets on one side and across the hall and the pets conversed with each other often when other occupants went by their rooms. I have a cat here at home and I approve of pets. I'm sure the management is aware of the noisy ice maker on the 2nd floor and the low level hum of the cooling system that's extremely irritating when walking by. The employees are very personable and courteous.Thats very important to me. We didn't eat at the hotel and I don't at most as we like to see what's in the city. I love the accessibility to the freeway, all the sights like Sea World, the border and beaches. Perfect location,and there is Security Officers and City Police cruise by. That comforting because there is homelessness like everywhere else in the country. You be the judge if you would stay/book at this Hilton. My wife and I has decided to find something else more quiet in the future visits to San Diego. Visitamos minha filha que está estacionada na Marinha em San Diego. Nós não passamos muito tempo no hotel além de dormir e uma visita ao bar para uma bebida. As impressões iniciais do hotel foram muito boas, pois estávamos exaustos de uma viagem de 20 horas de carro do Estado de Washington. Era muito cedo e descobrimos que nossa filha que reservou o quarto para nós não conseguiu um horário de check-in antecipado para nós, então o funcionário disse à minha esposa para voltar às 9h. Então dormimos em nosso carro na rua e voltamos às 8h. Check-in para o nosso quarto era às 15h naquela tarde. A pessoa da recepção nos trouxe um quarto após outro retorno por volta das 11h e nos instalamos para uma visita exausta com nossa filha. Apreciei o esforço. No geral, uma experiência difícil, o quarto era muito bom e as acomodações ótimas, exceto o xampu, condicionador e recipientes de lavagem de corpo meio cheios no chuveiro. A recepção tinha feito isso para nós rapidamente. Eu não nado, mas minha esposa faz, a piscina foi bloqueada para manutenção. O hotel parece bem conservado no entanto, é muito barulhento. As paredes permitem que as conversas dos outros ocupantes sejam ouvidas. Infelizmente, tínhamos convidados com animais de estimação de um lado e do outro lado do corredor e os animais conversavam entre si muitas vezes quando outros ocupantes passavam por seus quartos. Tenho um gato aqui em casa e aprovo os animais de estimação. Tenho certeza de que a gerência está ciente da máquina de gelo barulhenta no 2º andar e do zumbido de baixo nível do sistema de resfriamento que é extremamente irritante ao caminhar. Os funcionários são muito gentis e educados. Isso é muito importante para mim. Nós não comemos no hotel e eu não como no máximo, pois gostamos de ver o que há na cidade. Adoro a acessibilidade à autoestrada, todos os pontos turísticos como o Sea World, a fronteira e as praias. Localização perfeita, e há agentes de segurança e polícia da cidade passando. Que reconfortante porque há sem-abrigo como em qualquer outro lugar do país. Você será o juiz se ficar/reservar neste Hilton. Minha esposa e eu decidimos encontrar algo mais tranquilo nas futuras visitas a San Diego.
Only giving 4 stars on service because you have to call for room service and more towels;I would rather use the door hangers to request.Whoever cleans this property does an amazing job. Day time front desk ladies were nice, the early morning front desk person wasn't very friendly and looked annoyed that we didn't remember our room number. $22 additional a night for parking when 3 nights stay cost more than my mortgage is a bit much as well. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Apenas dando 4 estrelas no serviço porque você tem que chamar o serviço de quarto e mais toalhas; Eu preferiria usar os cabides de porta para solicitar. Quem limpa esta propriedade faz um trabalho incrível. Great trip to San Diego. Not my first stay at Hilton but we became a loyal clients because of the cleanliness of the hotel. This hotel in particular had a very welcoming staff. Rooms and restrooms are well maintained and clean. Had a very good time here. Ótima viagem a San Diego. Não é minha primeira estadia no Hilton, mas nos tornamos clientes fiéis por causa da limpeza do hotel. Este hotel em particular tinha uma equipe muito acolhedora. Os quartos e banheiros são bem cuidados e limpos. Teve um tempo muito bom aqui.

They have outside parking as well as a secure basement parking. On the management end, I do think the $22 parking fee is strange however. Maybe you can let people know prior to check in that there's a fee? Or lump it into the sum for the hotel? That way someone doesn't feel tricked. But overall, its a very great place! Muito bom hotel com quartos limpos. Eu amei a minha estadia aqui, e eu não poderia ter pedido uma experiência melhor no quarto. A equipe é muito legal também. Eles têm estacionamento externo, bem como um estacionamento seguro no subsolo. No final da gestão, acho que a taxa de estacionamento de US$ 22 é estranha no entanto. Me aloje en este hotel en un viaje de negocios. Los alojamientos estaban muy limpios y la ubicacion era de facial access. La recepcion me ayudo con los envios que estaba recibiendo y los entregue rapidamente a mi habitacion. Recomiendo altamente este hotel.
