We repeated our stay. Again, location was great for visiting UCLA and taking buses to Getty Villa and Getty Center. There is no parking at the hotel, and do not park in front of the hotel; you will get a ticket.So this time we flew into LAX and took the FLYAWAY shuttle and were within a few blocks from the hotel in no time. No need to rent a car if you are visiting UCLA and Westwood area.No in-room TV (a good thing), computer, or shampoo; older bathroom and room, but kept clean by very friendly and efficient housekeeping staff. Looked like room and bathroom have been repainted and repaired.For food, Trader's Joe and Raley's are nearby and lots of good restaurants around such as Noodle Planet, one of our favorites. There is a microwave, fridge and free coffee and tea at the hotel for guest use.So if you don't mind a simple but clean old place with characters and be aware of a few things, you will be fine in a most welcoming place ran by friendly staff: Scott and Leon.For the total price of $88 per night for two, it's an excellent deal. The hotel isn't fancy but it is a good, affordable place to crash if that's all you need. Thursday-Saturday very nice, helpful staff (two guys). Our toilet kept clogging and the guy had no problem fixing it. However no one bothered to tell us that you can't flush toilet paper and the front desk lady treated us like morons on Sunday for not knowing that (no sign nor warning after repeated clogs) and told us we had to unclog it ourselves.So if you know you aren't looking for somewhere fancy I would have given this 4 stars but the toilet and rudeness on Sunday changed my mind. Family run. Very nice and friendly staff. Absolute worth for money. The location is ideal for anybody going to UCLA. A short walk to UCLA. Moreover, the hotel is in Westwood. There are many eating places and shopping places nearby. The airport shuttle stop is a few minutes walk away. For those who are concerned aboutbudgets, this is a great place. Do not expect great quality. There is no TV in the room or any other benefits. Bathroom is modest. However, there is a kitchen and a living room with a TV. We did not need these facilities as we just needed a place to sleep. Familiar. Pessoal muito simpático e simpático. Valor absoluto para o dinheiro. A localização é ideal para quem vai para a UCLA. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.My family and I enjoyed a very long stay at this hotel.Hotel is clean for one of the oldest hotels in Tiverton Los Angeles. Very cute.There is no air condition in the rooms but not necessary for those staying in the room for sleep and out most of the day.There is a large refrigerator shared by guests and lounge area for TV and small dining area for those wanting to eat.Wifi works great.I give this hotel 5 stars for a bread and breakfast type setting and recommend this hotel highly. Don't let the curb appeal deter you.The rooms are gorgeous.They invested where it matters, the rooms.The beds are comfortable, the furnishings, decor, and bathrooms are top notch. Robert is a very good manager and always takes good care of you. He also very discreet and accommodating.Worthy of 4 stars. Este motel é um motel surpreendentemente bonito. The setting is relatively quiet, however, and the location was quite ideal for the event I was attending at UCLA. They're also $100 cheaper per night than any other place nearby. Pics and reality are completely opposite. Very depressing, rundown rooms in desperate need of full gut renovations. All original to 1940s and literally falling apart. I couldn't sleep the one night I stayed there..kept imagining bed bugs all over me. That, and the full size bed was uncomfortable and lumpy. No parking either, only street with time restrictions. Location and price were the only positives of this very low grade MOTEL (definitely NOT a hotel by any means!) Fotos e realidade são completamente opostas. There is a communal kitchen where there is a vending machine and coffee machine. On the plus side it is relatively clean and the location is very close to everything in westwood. Overall, basically just an old hotel that's good for if you're only there to sleep and plan to be out most of the time. If you stay here, expect a clean place to sleep and shower but not much else. El personal era muy amable y servicial. Mi familia y yo disfrutamos de una estancia muy larga en este hotel. El hotel está limpio para uno de los hoteles más antiguos de Tiverton, Los Ángeles. Muy lindo. No hay aire acondicionado en las habitaciones, pero no es necesario para aquellos que se quedan en la habitación para dormir y salir la mayor parte del día. Hay una gran nevera compartida por los huéspedes y sala de estar para TV y pequeña área de comedor para aquellos que quieran comer. Wifi funciona muy bien. El hotel no es lujoso, pero es un buen lugar asequible para descansar si eso es todo lo que necesita. De jueves a sábado personal muy agradable y servicial (dos chicos). Nuestro inodoro seguía obstruyéndose y el chico no tuvo problemas para arreglarlo.
