Everything was great! The view was awesome and location was perfect. It was nice to have a kitchenette. We wish we knew there was a little stove in advance. The only thing I would say is that it would be amazing if the fireplace was gas and we didn't have to deal the smoke. It smelled really bad the entire weekend. All in all, it was a perfect getaway (:

From the moment we walked in, the front desk staff was so pleasant. You can't beat the location and the rooms are absolutely fabulous. I'm surprised this is only a 3 star hotel. Deserves 4. Thank you for our amazing stay. Will definitely come back.

My friend and I so enjoyed our four night stay at Beach House. Your staff was friendly, professional and
always available to answer questions or help out. I have one suggestion and one minor complaint for you. We appreciated the "no housekeeping" policy in place at this time, but wonder if a lightweight, manual carpet sweeper could be made available to the guests, either on request or as a fixture in the room. We managed well to look after our room, but did wish we could quickly pick up the crumbs we dropped. And, sadly, we found the bagels and the first order of croissants stale.
Please note these are minor issues and we loved your hotel overall and so much appreciate the efforts we could see you are making to keep your guests safe. I am definitely planning on a return visit.

It was nice. Could of used a fridge and microwave. Sparsely decorated. We wanted to open the windows at night to let the breeze though but the window screens were bent and we didn't feel safe. No air-conditioning (I guess it's not necessary), but that's what opening the windows are for, right? Cute.

We loved staying at the Beach House. We felt very comfortable and welcomed. When we walked in to the room, it smelled and looked very clean, which we especially appreciate in COVID times. The view of the water and the walk to many restaurants was awesome. We especially liked the 12pm check out time. It gave us plenty of time to relax, get breakfast, and be on our way.

Imóvel bem legal Ficar durante a pandemia foi bom, mas incapaz de usar a lareira devido a poupar as restrições de ar, o que era totalmente compreensível. O café da manhã era bom e entregue no tempo. O pão não estava fresco .. :( A TV deve estar na área da sala de estar. A outra TV é um desperdício. Deve haver uma mesa para se sentar para comer, especialmente porque você tem uma configuração de cozinha. Como você consegue cozinhar sem panelas? Precisa fornecer comida .. biscoitos e queijo não funcionam. O barulho da estrada era alto ... Crie um caminho para a Sams Chowder House com iluminação. Resposta mais rápida aos pedidos de papel higiênico, tive que pegar um rolo do carrinho.

First time staying at the Beach Hotel. Staff were excellent!! Property real nice Staying during pandemic was nice but unable to use fireplace due to spare the air restrictions which was totally understandable. Breakfast was nice and delivered on time.Bread was not fresh..:( TV should be in living room area.The other TV is a waste. There should be a table to sit at to eat especially since you have a kitchen setup. How are you able to cook with no cooking pans? Need to provide food.. crackers and cheese doesn’t work. Noise from road was loud.... Create a path to Sams Chowder House with lighting. Faster response to requests for toilet paper I had to grab a roll from the cart.

We stayed in Zaballa House several time and had a good experience. It looks like it’s under a new management the managers name is Dave He overcharged us, make sure to not give your credit card in advance. Rooms are unclean and the whole night people were partying, right under the room was a parking which group of people were singing at aloud. ..........We’re not
going back.
When we told Dave he didn’t care all he wants is to over charge you take your money.

I had a lovely, relaxing stay here at the Beach House. They took cleanliness (due to COVID) very seriously, including dropping breakfast off in the morning on personal trays as well as making sure all the dishes and silverware were shrink wrapped and sanitized. I appreciated this. While I couldn't go outside due to the air quality during the CA wildfires, I was able to unwind in the comfort of my suite. Provided a lovely break.

Ótimo lugar para ficar perto de Half Moon Bay. Decidiu ficar aqui enquanto fazia uma aula na área. Foi maravilhoso. Fica na praia, perto de restaurantes. A equipe foi muito simpática e prestativa no check-in e check-out. Eles tomam café e um café da manhã continental todos os dias. O quarto era grande, com uma varanda com vista para o norte da área e da marina. O quarto tinha um lindo banheiro, cama confortável e duas áreas (quarto e sala) separadas por uma parede e meia. Não há ar condicionado, mas dois fãs foram incluídos no quarto. Havia também uma lareira com pequenos sacos de madeira que eram queimados e duravam cerca de 2 horas. Definitivamente, eu recomendaria este hotel para qualquer pessoa na área.

Great place to stay near Half Moon Bay. Decided to stay here while taking a class in the area. It was wonderful. It is right off the beach, near restaurants. The staff was very friendly and helpful both on check in and check out. They have coffee and a continental breakfast each day. The room was large with a balcony overlooking to the north of the area and the marina. The room had a beautiful bathroom, comfortable bed and two areas (bedroom and living room) separated by a ½ wall. There is no a/c but two fans were included in the room. There was also a fireplace with small bags of wood that were burnable and lasted for about 2 hours. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone in the area.

Had a lot of personality and old time feel in the main building. Our room was spacious, and modern with an updated insert fireplace new floors and a nice bathroom. (no fridge in our room but didn't matter on our short stay)
Good snacks at evening wine and cheese.
Good breakfast with fresh fruit, quiche, toast and yogurt.

The perfect location for Half Moon Bay, CA. Walking distance to small shops, boutiques, restaurants and banks. Property also has several specially stores on the first floor of the plaza. They offer a wonderful breakfast buffet of fresh fruits, muffins, breads, their own recipe of handmade granola, yogurts, quiche, etc. The building is a historic place and last time we were there they had a small history room showing area and building development. Room was very large with a Jacuzzi and king size bed. Very comfortable!

Puedo dar 3 estrellas solo por la ubicación y el desayuno. El empleado de la tarde que nos registró fue muy cortés y antipático. Parecía no darse cuenta de que la cama era horrible cuando le contamos al respecto. La habitación era bastante incómoda y tenía uno de los peores colchones que he tenido en un hotel. El desayuno era bueno y la señora que trabajaba en la mañana fue muy agradable y se disculpó por la cama. Me gusta mucho la ubicación, y podría ser un gran lugar si ponen más esfuerzo en hacer que las habitaciones sean cómodas.

Eu posso dar 3 estrelas apenas por causa da localização e café da manhã. O funcionário à noite que verificado nos foi muito sucinta e hostil. Ela parecia não dar um figo voador que a cama era horrível quando contamos a ela sobre isso. O quarto era bastante desconfortável e tinha um dos piores colchões que eu já tive em um hotel. Café-da-manhã foi boa e a senhora que foi trabalho de manhã foi muito nice e foi apologético sobre a cama. Eu gosto da localização muito, e poderia ser um ótimo lugar se eles colocaram mais esforço para tornar os quartos confortáveis.

I can give 3 stars only because of the location and breakfast. The evening employee that checked us in was very curt and unfriendly. She seemed to not give a flying fig that the bed was awful when we told her about it. The room was pretty uncomfortable and had one of the worst mattresses I've ever had in a hotel. Breakfast was good and the lady that was working in the morning was very nice and was apologetic about the bed. I like the location a lot, and it could be a great place if they put more effort in to making the rooms comfortable.

Habitación # 4. Estuvimos aquí el fin de semana después del Día de San Valentín, la ubicación de este lugar es perfecta, a poca distancia a pie de muchos restaurantes y un salón en la esquina. Boutiques bonitinhas alinham a rua. No entanto, tenha em mente este bed and breakfast é bastante desatualizado. Eu gostei o suficiente para voltar, mas eu não sou muito exigente. As toalhas eram minúsculos, sem cortinas no banheiro, então a banheira de hidromassagem só pode ser utilizado como uma banheira, a menos que você queira água em todos os lugares quando tomar banho utilizando o chuveiro removível. Room #4. We were here the weekend after Valentine's Day, the location of this place is perfect- walking distance to lots of restaurants and a Saloon at the corner. Cute little boutiques line the street. However, keep in mind this bed and breakfast is pretty outdated. I liked it enough to come again but, I'm not too picky. The towels were tiny, no curtains in the bathroom so the jet tub can only be used as a tub unless you want water everywhere when showering using the removable shower head. The WiFi signal was weak. I liked the gas fireplace! !
