Contains exhibits on the construction of the transcontinental Canadian Pacific Railway, the workers involved and current operations. A satellite of the museum on the site where the last spike was driven is located at Craigellachie on the Trans-Canada Highway about 40 km west of Revelstoke.

The Trans Canada Hwy #1 east of Revelstoke continues on to the town of [wiki=7d2b88f5977b8a31c6193b4c81a43daf]Golden[/wiki], passing through [wiki=9217f0ed53d4ab0764490a44051e6731]Mount Revelstoke National Park[/wiki] and [wiki=2465f586ab6ac60a0207293cd3fc9fff]Glacier National Park (British Columbia)[/wiki] on its way. The Rogers Pass discovery centre is definitely worth visiting, as are the multitude of small hikes within the parks.
